"Mike" is my ex.. i have a HARD time getting over a guy when we 1st break up so i get attatched hard &fast it makes it even harder to get unnatached..Mike & I broke up a couple months ago..&havnt really spoke2eachother since..i have been trying my hardest2get him out of my head so i can move on..since our break up i called him 2x..2get some things off my chest hoping it would make me feel better(i know bad idea)Mike has this i dont care attitude making it VERY clear he just want2be friends or he doesnt want anything2do with me..that he has moved on..but i dont understand y Mike tells me2move on&so&so..but then Mike said hello2 me yesterday just out the blue (shoking the heck outta me), saying he just want 2be friends again & basically let the past b the past.. i dont understand..i thought he didnt want me or want nothing2do with me? y is he comming bak 2me saying lets be friends? did something open his eyes or what is it????

I think daybig2 is an idiot also. I've reported him many times. Mike on the other hand is not sure what he wants. He sounds inexperienced with women. He changes his mind like he changes his underwear. Without much thought. Give him a chance. See what happens. Let him make all the moves though. You don't want to seem too desperate of eager. I think being away from you opened his eyes. He had a lot of thinking time and he realized what he was missing.

It's not that confusing, dun worry, i will help u sort out a bit.
First of all, u have alreayd broken up with him and trying to forget him right? So have u? Is he still always in your mind? Just throw way all the things which have anything to od with him, trust me, after some time u will forget him. Well a memory will always be there, u can never erase it, but it will become dimer and dimer when the time passes by.
Then, u said he told u that he only want to be friends with u and has nothing to do with u. Don't u think he is saying 2 things which are contradicting? How to have nothing to do with some1 while still be friends with? At least i can never do that. If this is what he said, u also can do it. To have nothing to do with him and forget him, the best way is to delete him from your contact list and not see him anymore. This is what i did to forget my ex.. And it worked well. He also knew it and even afterwards he enrolled into the same poly as me and saw me, he never let me know(he only told my best fren who also knows him). Sometimes u got to be hard and cold-hearted.
Thus, there is no way to befriend with him again, u will only have feeling for him again if u do so and u will only feel more desperate. What if he had a gf already? How are u going to face it? No way. So ignore him or tell him that u now do not want to have nothing to do with him, so there is no point to be friends also.
It is possible that he is intenting to get back to u, maybe because currently he is lonely or cannot find any gf.. But U WILL NOT BE THE REPLACEMENT! Never walk back to your ex, remember!

Well i don't think you are an idiot. I think you are normal human being with normal confusion and fears. speaking from experience, it is very difficult to be friends with someone after you have broken up with them. Mostly because there is always one person who wants something more out of the relationship. In this case that seems to be you. Another thing might be that the person mike moved onto isn't working out for him, and he just wants to use you for something, if you know what i mean. The beest thing is distance and trying to move on and date other peole is my best advice.

He doesn't want you, he wants to be friends. Don't read more into it then there is. Guys aren't that complicated, they don't analyze every gesture, "hello" or movement like women do, nor do they want to.
If he wanted to be with you, he'd be with you. If he wants to be friends, he wants to be friends.
