In my life, I act dominant. I'm very confident and strong-willed. But when it comes to men, I become submissive. It feels good to let my guard down and let someone else protect me for once. I feel safer that way, in a psychological sense. When I'm acting strong and confident and a man shows me up, it's exhilarating. Then I know that man can take control and can make me feel protected.

It is a pretty well known fact that most powerful men would like to be in submissive in a relationship with a woman. I don't necessarily mean S&M, sometimes just deciding the where you both are going to the movie, or out to eat can be enough.

Most powerful men have to make so many decisions that they want time off from that. A lot of powerful men have people fawning all over them, doing whatever they tell them to. It would be so nice, for them, to meet a woman who can stand up for herself, someone who can take command.

A submissive woman can be good in some sexual games, but wouldn't it also be good the other way around. Personally I seem to be attracted to strong women. Are Andy Rooney and I the only ones who think that Martha Stewart is a hot woman? Of course I bet in her private heart of hearts she too would like a little release now and then.

A lot of men want a submissive woman, especially those that don't have any sort of real control. At least they have control over someone. However, in S&M the oddest part is that the submissive is the one in control. They are given a release word and the game goes on until they say the release word. Of course the session is over at that time as well.

Only truly confident people can switch between being submissive and dominant. Although I don't seem to have a lot of control in my life that is the relationship I would be happiest in.

I don't want a woman that hides her true thoughts and feelings in the name of being submissive. Submission is good for a relationship though cuz it reduces arguing. One person has the final say. It doesnt really work though if the guy is a loser or jerk and abuses his authority for selfish reasons. He should love the woman and make decisions in consultation with her and have her best interest in mind.
I do like a woman that is respectful and supportive, but not a total yes-woman pushover.

The thing about being a submissive woman is that you will be in a controlling relationship. Really is that what you want? It all depends on the kind of church you go to. If the preacher says you have to submit to your husband in every way, run as fast as you can to another church. Women should honor their husbands as husbands are to honor the wives. Read the Bible, you will discover the truth for yourself. Buy a Thompson chain reference for help with looking up various verses or get an easy to read version of the Bible like the New King James version. Spouses who honor each other compromise with various issues instead of arguing, for example; my spouse's request, please don't make household purchases over $500 unless we discuss what the purchase is first. We respect each other by not criticizing each other in public. If I'm right about something but he thinks I'm not, he waits until we are in private to discuss the situation and vice verso. These things show honor and respect. Oh yeah, the same thing for sex. Man's not supposed to jump on woman anytime he likes, (the same with woman) morning-noon or night. I've had friends who were so submissive they had to be admitted to mental institutions because the spouse was so controlling in every aspect of the relationship.

I am submissive but only in the bedroom. But it also depends on how much trust you have for a person. Being submissive does not mean being a doormat, it means enjoying yourself in the way you want, and is a personal decision.

only in kinky "sessions". Submission has always been a show of faithfulness and devotion although to say that only submissive women are faithful and devoted would of course be too shallow and moronic. A total doormat is never sexy and attractive, you have to have some level of defiance there, makes us feel your questioning our power a little bit, and of course if its things pertaining to the relationship its always 50/50 and decided beforehand. When it comes to conversation, everybody loves a woman who has certain level of intelligence and tend to contradict our views and dont just agree with everything we say.

When a woman submits to me...it is the ultimate gift a man ever have...I see it as you giving your soul...not just your body. All the more reason a woman should not be this way with just any man...just takes away the lustre of the intimacy. Submission is So So Sexy 2 Me!

If I'm with a person I love, then yes I can be submissive only when it comes to intimacy. Other than that.. I believe in compromise. I think we all tend to be submissive in relationships when it is to our advantage.

I want my woman to be submissive based on my experience with a woman who always wanted to have everything her way. She wouldn't do anything for me either. It was a hard time for me.
