Singles & Dating - 10 July 2006

I'm dating this guy who I've been friends with for awhile. I thought I was terribly shy and inexperienced when it came to relationships, but this guy takes the cake. We started talking about becoming a couple 2 months ago and just recently started dating. The problem is he gets extremely nervous if I get too close to him (other than a hug). He's taking me on a vacation (just the two of us) which makes me even more confused as to how he can't work up the nerve to kiss me. That being said, there are two things I'm absolutely sure of. 1) He's straight as an arrow 2) he does not have another girlfriend and he hasn't had one for awhile.
Anyway, any suggestions? Any shy guys want to explain the cerebral functions of this fellow? Should I take it slower? Should I push the issue?

Has anyone ever tried internet dating just to see if i makes your ex mad. I did and he called last night and told me that his friend winked at me. I know it wasn't his friend because it was his nickname. Did i do the right thing to make him jealous?

I was visiting my boyfriend for a week and we were having sex like 4 times a day... After months your'e still in love with the person, and you feel the same way and know they are THE type of person you want as a spouse. Do you try and forget it and move on? I personally think that some of them so called "nice and down to earth" dudes are straight phonies. They just act nice to deceive y'all ladies out there.

All boys like to flirt with ladies and sweet talk them. We just got the balls to do it. Being cocky, being playful with the girls, and walking with a swagger doesn't mean we're evil. That's just who we are.
