I'm 16, short 5'0. I never thought of myself as ugly, pretty even. I'm asian and I'm usually complimented on my soft flowy hair and eyes. I admit I can be shy when it comes to guys. I do get the occasional stares and smiles of passing guys, but I wouldn't even imagine any of them ever apporaching me. Is there something wrong with me? I don't mean to sound insecure or anything, but I'm beginning to think that I'll never find someone for me.

I met this Brit last week, he really intrigued me. I asked him how old he is and he told me he was 21, so I got the message that I should forget about him. But I loved the idea of being with someone like him, no matter how old he was, but i've always gone for people older than me. So for some reason I got off the computer and later that night, I stayed up til about three in the morning thinking about him! He was really in my head the entire day and I kept going on the computer for the whole day of the Fourth of July while a party was going on to see if he had sent me an email or anything. I pictured him with green eyes and black hair and a soft, soothing voice. Exactly the kind of Brit I wanted. He was very sad though and depressed and I kept day dreaming of us both laying in bed, in this huge aprtment in some city with a balcony outside looking at the street. Then I saw a picture of him and that all went down the drain, not that he was ugly, just not exactly what I wanted. We still speak, but I dont think of him as great a person anymore. Am I shallow? Or did I just put him up to be more than he was? Please help me out

Does he like me? We're really good friends who hvae evrything in common. we have all the same classes and the same lunch schedule, we talk all the time, and this summer, hes called me and IM'ed me eryday. If hes somewhere near me and I look his way, hes looking at me and he smiles. I want him to like me, but how do I kno. My friends all swear he does[and his friends for that matter]

I am the type of guy that enjoys the simple things inlife. I enjoy going out to dinner and renting a movie and lying in the floor with a special someone. I also enjoy just jumping up at the last momment and say to her, "hey lets go to the beach". "lets go to the mountains" or someother nice place to share time with each other. i like taking her to the movies and at least once a week go out to the club and socialize and dance. I dont do drugs and I only social drink. I treat women with respect and dignity. I have several women that are just friends and they all say that they wish they could find a man like me. They know me very well so I trust their opinions. My friends say I am very hot looking even if I dont think I am all that. I am a somewhat rebel guy but not a full blown bad boy.I always wind up meeting women that cant commit or have way too many issues from how other guys treat them. if they know what is a bad guy then why cant they see me for who I am and give me a chance?

I just said yeah and then freeked out when I got home. I don't know how to do any part of it. What do you do if you think you've found someone, but sometimes he bores you senseless? If he's interesting 50% of the time and boring 50% - does this matter? Does this mean there's no chemistry?
