Well if you're not sure whether the commitment will last or that he might cheat, then maybe your relationship is not as stable as you might have thought. If these thoughts are running through your head, then you should really sit down and re-evaluate your situation. You have to figure out whether this is the real thing and is worth salvaging. In other words, are you guys so happy together that your love can withstand the distance. Long-distance relationships are hard but are doable if both hearts are in it. However, if you really feel that it's better to go your separate ways then it makes a lot more sense to do that before the start of your 'new lives.' It will be hard but will save you a lot of heartbreak later on when you find yourselves drifting apart as a result of distance and conflict. Whatever path you choose, I wish you the best of luck!

I've been there and it didn't work. His life is going to be changing greatly, and (assuming you're still in high school) you still have one of the best years of your life to experience. The hardest part is the two of you can't share those experiences, and neither one of you should be cheated out of the moment 'cuz your partner can't be there. Your commitment to eachother may be strong enough to overcome that, but it won't be easy. I guess all you can do is try. This might be a good time to try the old "if you love something let it go, if it comes back it's yours, if not it never was" thing. Good luck.

Nope, college is all about Class Partying and random hook ups. Let a good thing go and remember as a good thing. I've seen this situation backfire some many times in the dorms. Half the time people aren't faithful to the ones they have that go to the same college.

NO NO NO!!! Cause you and he will be so far apart. I have seen other people try it and it didn't work cause they couldn't see each other and then temptation came in to play.
So look at college as a new and exciting time in your life and you should experience different things and there will be so many different people, you might find someone better at college, who doesn't want to live 360m away from you. good luck.

You should agree to see other people and if after 4 years in college you both want to be exclusive;go for it You both are too young to be tied down at this stage of your lives.

The truth hurts but NO! You should have a lot of sex now till he leaves. Then move on. When he is done with school and comes home and you get back together then it was meant to be.

YOU both need to sit down and talk about your relationship!

If you both want to stay together, make every effort to work on this relationship!

If you are asking this question than you don't have the dedication to make it work. It would be better to cut your loses now before it's too late.
