What do you do if you think you've found someone, but sometimes he bores you senseless? If he's interesting 50% of the time and boring 50% - does this matter? Does this mean there's no chemistry?

Whether male or female, if you are interested only half the time you are with someone and bored the other half, I don't believe you have found a "keeper". You may have found a good friend or a wildly exciting sexual partner. If YOU can commit to that, then you have found yourself a "keeper".

If he's great 50% of the time, I think you're onto a winner. As many people have said (and as you get older), you realise much of life is just... tedious. This is *normal*, even celebrities will tell you 'life is not a party all of the time'.

You just read what you see in magazines, see on the TV, and hear what your mates say about it being 'fantastic all the time' (which it is often in the heady early days of a romance), or they're lying. As celebs say the fun part is about 5% the rest is just really hard work. Unfortunately, we see the 5% presented as the 100%. If you've got 50% that's wonderful, you'll be luckier than most.

Hang onto him! However if you've only met him recently, and are bored of him before you've really started romantic involvement, then maybe you're best off keeping looking. All the best, whichever you choose! :-)

it doesnt mean there is no chemistry, but if he bores u 50% of the time then he's not a keeper. 10% u can live with, maybe even 20%, but 50% means 1/2 the time he is crap! and after a few years of being together and u reach the true stage of boredom, he will litterally bore u to death! keep him as "bit of fun buddy" and just hang out with him 50% of the time....

Boring is better than crazy LOL A good relationship has a pretty good balance of excitement and moments that are...well...normal. Is it normal for you to spend time with family and friends and expect "fireworks" all of the time...I don't think so. Why expect the same in your relationship with him? Realistically, if the relationship is healthy, you guys will have regular, dull, or just laid back moments when your hormones are not charged 24/7.

Sorry girl - but life isnt always interesting... Its about doing your daily grind & hopefully finding someone that you get on with, not someone who entertains you... Perhaps he finds you boring - try fixing the other 50%... Its all about partnerships - 50/50..

Have fun!!

dump him it'll only get worse. The fact that you have even asked this questions means that you know deep down its not right . Dump him and move on. Its a long life to be bored with someone for half of it.

Boring equals comfortable. He obviously feels he no longer needs to be on his best and impress you any longer. It means he has reached a point in your relationship where he can just relax and be himself.

There's nothing wrong if it gets a little boring. You just have to try harder to keep it interesting. If he has all the qualities your looking for then keep him.
