Singles & Dating - 16 June 2006

Let’s say you are on the 3rd date of going out and having a great time with someone you are very compatible with and starting to have feelings for. Before the relationship gets more serious (before sex is involved) they confess to you that several years ago for a period of time of one year their profession was starring in Adult Films. Would you continue with this person or would you stop seeing them?

As many others, a friend of mine felt in love with her best friend. Although he expressed all his feelings to her, she clarified that they are and will be only friends. As a friend, I am convinced that they deserve and complement each other in every aspect of their lives…they just need to shake up a little.
I suggested him to stop seeing, calling her and/or be available for her. I also made up a fake beautiful girlfriend jus to make her jealous and justify his absence.
Even these actions sounds like teenager’s issues; I am convinced that this measures will clarify the situation in order to discover if she really feels something about my friend.

Do you think that these actions are correct or love should not be forced by anyone?

Last night he started crying about his brother that passed 9 yrs ago. When I went to comfort him he pushed me away. He's always talking about he can handle it or he "got this". I don't feel close to him at all...sometimes I really don't even feel like I'm in a relationship. We can talk about anything but when it comes to discussing our problems in our relationship or him opening up he changes the subject or deliberately piss me off until we end up in the argument...but to hear him tell it, he'll say I'm making it up. What do you think?

I have a feeling that my boyfriend is cheating on me and he has done it once but nothing bad happened since.I was never the kind of girl who would stay with a guy even though he has cheated on me.I love him a lot but how do you break up with someone without feeling that you want them back because all of the good times that you have shared together.

Well, i have this guy I like in school, and I don't just like him, i LOVE him. So i wanted to call him but i'm not his girlfriend and all but i really wanted to hear his voice. Lately i'm getting that feeling a lot. When i have a fight with my friends or when my pet died and i really want to call him but i'm afraid he's going to hate me. Alright, im not a girly girl. I drink beer like a champ. All my friends are guys, and they consider me one of them pretty much. Im 14 the guy that i Love is 21 (if ur going 2 say that I cant b in Love at this age or that its wrong 2 b thinking that way of a 21 y/o or insult me or anything that isnt helpful than just leave cause ur wasting ur time&my time)

I went 2 a camp 2 yrs ago&met this guy we talked a lot, i shared secrets with him that no 1 else knows that ive been hiding my whole life. He likes talking 2 me but he doesnt want 2 go out with me because of my age (&im okay about that). I went 2 camp the year after&about 1 month after the camp him&my psychologist decided it would be better if we stop talking because i was becoming 2 attached&addicted 2 talking 2 him (this was in september) he always told me that when i thought i was ready 2 talk to him to e-mail him (cause he lives 2hrs away)

Im ready but im not sure if i should. It was hard 4 him 2 stop talking 2 me&i dont want 2 bother him or make him confused again. But im miserable not talkin 2 him&just want 2 die. Is there any1 that can help me?PLZ

I have a friend (we'll call her Sally). Last Friday I explained to her that we were just friends and I wasn't looking for a relationship with anybody. Sally agreed and said she was feeling the same way.

On Saturday, one thing led to another... and we had sex. Let's make this clear - I did not "try" to have sex with her... it just happened. In fact, she was the one who got in my bed and undressed - I just went along with it.

On Sunday I went to a strip club and ended up making out with one of the strippers.

On Monday, Sally was very very mad and hurt that I did that with the stripper, since we had sex on Saturday.

Was I a jerk for doing that with the stripper after having sex with Sally? I thought we were just friends, and I made that very clear to her.

What do you think?
