When your ex comes bac and says,"I just wanted to clear the air with you and not want to be enemies".What the hell does that mean, does he care or just playing games.Please note, we broke up in April and came bac like this 2 days ago.Oh and no I am not the type of girl to call the guys and say come bac.

I tried the same thing with my ex after we were separated about a year...just to clear the air. NO, I did not want her back, just no hard feelings, if possible. She said , well, you get the point of where I could go, and so on. Whatever, I tried!!

His alternate plans that he had in mind probably didn't work out the way he thought. Now, two months later, he realizes he messed up a good thing and wants to find out where you are right now and if he has a shot pretending to be sympathetic to the situation. Just do what you do !

It sounds like he has some guilt related to the break up. Perhaps he is interested in a friend of yours, or maybe he just doesn't like bumping into you and feels awkward about it. I don't think he is playing mind games and I don't think he is interested in coming back but he does seem to ease tensions for some reason.

He's been out fishing for someone better than you or what ya'll had (he did not find it) and now he's wanting to reel you back in!
You need to clear the air with him and let him know yeah we can be friend but nothing more than that!

i know you said only guys hun! but he wants you back! why come after all this time! and take the risk that you could have moved on! which you probly have by now, think about it? and dont go back ! hes probly been with someone since your split, and it did'nt work out, so he may trying to get back in with you . These men do some wierd things, and we will spend all day trying to work them out! so i wouldnt even waste your time on worrying about this!

In my humble opinion, you should accept his apology and move on, as others have said. The key here is that you can remain cordial or even friendly, but let trust be re-built as a friend. It sounds like you had some issues and didn't break up on good terms, in which case, you should guard your trust and, if willing, let him re-establish himself as trust-worthy and a friend. Good luck!

When you mess up, in a relationship you do not want that bad karma to follow you. To move on you apologize to the one you hurt and it looks like he has done some soul searching.

Could be that the two of you go to the same places or have the same friends and just dosent want to feel uncomfortable. Or he wants to find a reason to talk to you.

I've thought about doing that, in my past relationships.
But I never did.
Part of me wanted to, out of whatever guilt or need to make a clean end.
Part of me thought that it wouldn't make a different...sour milk never returns to its freshness,
So as to why...probably some guilt thing he's carrying around.
Or, he could be fishing to see if you've got any interest in getting back together.
If you don't care, move on with your life.
