if you had to choose like you can only save one who would it be? your bestfriend or your brother/sister. your bestfriend is there for you, may ignore you sometimes when around like people that are popular or smoehting, but your sibling can be really cool and sweet, but very embarassing like idk if he is like only 18 and balding, but can be really mean and unfair and a jerk, but your bestfriend is awesome when you are together, but then again its your sibling. who would you choose???

background: we dated for 7 months....about a year ago. we haven't really spoken since. we both really loved each other...we were each other's firsts. he broke up with me. i don't know why, never asked.

now: despite our HUGE school, he's in two of my classes. and the random seating chart put him next to me. we keep running into each other. in and out of school. random sorting put us in the same group for science for an entire year.

so we've been talking...a little. about nothing important. he turned around and told me a joke today. but he ignored me for a year! and neither of us have had a relationship since...he hasn't had anything close. what's the deal?

As a parent who thought my children were so aware of all the dangers of alcohol and drugs (through the D.A.R.E. program and ongoing heart-to-heart talks), it still happened. I suspect that reality shows and morgue visits might have actually had an impact, but D.A.R.E. was a softer program. Where did I end up getting support? Nar-Anon Family Groups! www.nar-anon.org

Fashionable people call their children after the place where they were conceived:

Brooklyn Beckham.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.
Obviously, because they were conceived in "Brooklyn" and "Shiloh" respectively.
Do you think that everyone should follow suit?
What about:
Broom-Cupboard Becker?
After the little escapade by Boris and Model Angela Ermakova in a Japanese restaurant in London.
Perhaps we non-celebrities could join in :
What about :
"Back o' the Bike-shed Billy?"
"Table-ender Tommy?"
" Hire car Harry?"
"Principal's Office Priscilla?"
"Office Party Olive?"
"Water-cooler Walter?"
"Wedding rehearsal Wendy?"
"Back Porch Boris?"
Let me know what you think?
Have you got any ideas?

We've only recently started talking. My friend mentioned to him he wrote on my facebook a lot, so she wondered if he liked me. He apparently looked around in a i've never thought of it way, and shook his head no. She then asked are you sure cause it seems like it, and he replied by looking around and thinking more then nodding yes. It think it was very random for him, so, I assume he hadnt thought of it, but he isn't against it, cause he didn't flat out say no. Any other opinions? Should we tell him I like him?

I want to switch out of my history class but in order to do that, I need 3 signatures: my teacher, the department chairperson, and my parents. I also needed an excuse. My teacher is possibly the worst teacher ever. She can't teach at all. She talks all class long about everything but the lesson. Once she actually starts teaching, she thinks of something else to talk about. My excuse was "There are distractions in the class."I approached my teacher with the signature sheet and she refused to sign it. Instead, she moved my seat the next day across the room. How can I switch out without telling her the truth?

My closed friend has been helping out an old couples for a long period of time . They are 85 and 82 . They really love her a lot . I heard they said they really want to adopt her . The problem is she is 32 . She isn't a child . I told them that I don't think they can adopt her . On another hand , they said they can do it and there is no age limited . I would like to know from people who know well about the laws . We live in Wichita , KS . Can they adopt her ? What procedure they need to do ? I would love to see it happens because they don't have a daughter and they wish the dream comes true . She is very nice and caring to them . Any suggestions for good lawyers ? Thank you very very much .

There is a guy that is always annoying me. I'm gonna call him A.
Well A is always pulling at my hair or touching it, or stealing my jacket, or other immature boy things that apparently they think girls like.
But I don't know if he's doing it to annoy me or because he likes me.
A does this to one other girl and my best guy friend.
What do you think?

I met my girlfriend on eharmony.com, and I've been with her for 3 months now. I don't see anything wrong with it, but she's embarassed to tell people and has been telling her friends and family that one of her friends introduced us. Should I go along with that or should I tell people the truth?

Is meeting people online that way weird? Or a sign of desperation? I don't think so...I found that I met nicer people there than I ever did in years of going to bars and clubs and the like.

Oh, btw, I am 25 and she is 26.

lol I know it's a funny thing to complain about but I am so scared that he is going to get severely sick from being worn out. My husband installs cell phone sites and works nights then days and ust keep switching. The thing is last night he went to work at 8pm and didnt get home until 4:30pm today.. now is planning on going to work at like 9pm tonight (i know he's working i do the bills)... I am really angry at him. He can say "no" if he wants to about working but is insisting that they need him. So obviously he was mad that i got mad, but how do I let him know that I am just worried about him and convince him that he needs to take care of himself....
I did tell him I was worrie and he is being dangerous.... he gets angry at me :( I just want to convince him,, how?
Seriously... 4 hours of sleep in 40 hours just isnt safe.. especially when he drives 3 hours to and from.... this is about his health BTW just found a hernia

i was 16-17 years old when i met him, we went out for about a year. i broke up with him b/c he cheated on me. he dated so many other girls after that. he was my first love(he knows this) cuz he had the balls to mention that in one of our convos when we were broken up...anyways....the second i broke up with him, i wanted him back so bad, but he totally cutt me off and we stopped talking. and as soon as i thought i was over it he would call me, and all the feelings would come rushing back. to make a long story short....3 years later of being broken up he calls me and we met up. he tells me he wants me back, i was so happy thats all i ever wanted..him back in my life. the only problem now is that i live so far from him and we hardly talk and when we do hang out, we fight. i know hes trying so hard to make me happy but i cant get over the stuff he put me through. people say i should just leave him but im scared to...i did it b4 and i never got over it. i feel like i dont love him the way i

so here's the deal: boyfriend and i are together for over half year. i'm at university in a city that's quite far away from our hometown so i see him once/twice a week (mostly on weekend). my best friend takes classes with me and with him i can have a great time as well but i am definitely not interested in him in a romantic way.
last week, me and my best friend spent some time together because we grabbed some food after an exam, we travelled back home on train together, then went to have a drink with other people we know (boyfriend was at footballpractice). later on, my boyfriend joined us. he sat right in between my best friend and i and he was really quiet. after best friend left, he talked way more. i do mention my best friend in conversation with my guy quite often because friend and i hang out a lot. but i am not interested in him. he doesn't want me either, but does joke about looking at my breasts, ... in front of boyfriend.
he says he's not jealous type, but then what is this?

once its been proven to be your offspring, if thats necessary, whats wrong with paying your fair share of things for the child(ren)? that should be roughly half, unless your ex is a millionaire and you work at mcdonalds, but even then, take the kids clothes shopping in a while. if you love your kids, wouldnt you want them to be taken care of in the best possible way? now the system is played alot by some smart women who choose evil, and sometimes guys get the shaft. but im finally looking at the statistics, and most of the judgements seem pretty fair. ive never been there in that position, but it seems to me that paying for a child goes hand in hand with co-parenting one. and if you never see your kids, then thats low down. whoevers to blame for that is not doing the kids any favors.

My son's 1st birthday is one week before Easter next year... How can I combine the two events, without taking away from the importance of either!?

*Note: The reason we plan on having both events on one day (on Easter), is because that is the best time that out-of-state relatives can come up. So it's either celebrate them together, or Not, and have those certain relatives not show up.

What can I do? What are my options?!

I'll call him John.
I have known him all his life. But a few years ago he began confiding in me, telling me his most personal feelings for someone, my sister. He opened up and I could see his heart and soul. Our conversations turned to easy banter and later — I have a hard time admitting this even now — flirtation and I had no intention of crossing any physical line, nor did I think about him that way. The signs of an emotional affair may be more subtle than those of a sexual affair, but they're just as unmistakable. "An emotional affair happens when you put the bulk of your emotions into the hands of somebody. Your talking with this person, sharing with this person. Your innermost thoughts, funny jokes, and interesting personal experiences are saved up and spilled to this person. And even if you never so much as touch him, this emotional attachment has just as much potential as a sexual fling.

I thought i did awesome on the test, and i got it back and it was a 72!
My mom says she gonna take my phone away and i cant get on the computer anymore. I checked my grades and I have a 73% average, so my average went UP even though i did bad. She still says im grounded, and my crush wants me o come to his football game this friday. What do I do!? What can I say to her? And do u think this is fair?
