My closed friend has been helping out an old couples for a long period of time . They are 85 and 82 . They really love her a lot . I heard they said they really want to adopt her . The problem is she is 32 . She isn't a child . I told them that I don't think they can adopt her . On another hand , they said they can do it and there is no age limited . I would like to know from people who know well about the laws . We live in Wichita , KS . Can they adopt her ? What procedure they need to do ? I would love to see it happens because they don't have a daughter and they wish the dream comes true . She is very nice and caring to them . Any suggestions for good lawyers ? Thank you very very much .

Wouldnt that be a slap in the face to your friends Parents.
I am sure they wouldnt like that so much. I know I wouldnt.
If your friends parents are not in her life, then that is a different story.

You know a relationship between people dont always have to be on paper and a adoption is only a matter of signing some papers. Your friend can adopt this older couple as her parents, just by saying this is my parents.
