(asked this in food and drink but my question hasn't come up for some reason so this is the nest closest category)
I'm off to uni in a few days.However I'm worried.I've chosen quite expensive accomodation and have a lovely large kitchen to cook in.However I'm worried as all I have is a saucepan wooden spoon and a tin opener! There is nothing else.I'm sharing with 5 other people so maybe they will bring some more essentails but I may not get on with them and anyway for the first few days it would be a but cheeky to use their stuff.I'm no a very tight budget
Anyone got any recipies that are healthy and get can be done with very little utensiles?

Hello There, When i was 13. My brother went to prison when he was 16 for attempted murder by puttin a knife to his enemys throat ( He was 15 or 16) and threatened to kill him and was going to but police got there in time. He got 5 years in a young offenders prison. Hes now 17 and serving a sentence.

This person that he nearly killed ruined his childhood, By threatening him day in day out And jumping him with his friends. But you know.

And he wants me to go into contact with him?

But the thing is he thinks its a joke in court, The court told him his sentence our hole family cried and screaming and all he said to the judge was " life goes on its nothing ".

Is he a bad person? Should i go to see him?

Im from the UK aswell.

And our young offenders prison quiet ruff aswell?

I just started working.. and I'm the only one earning anything.. and I just get frustrated cause it's my own money yet I gotta give it up to help cause then I feel like I'm not contributing or being "Stingy" ..so it's just a rough deal and I am stressing over it. =[

Don't give me any of the BS like "I still love him, nomatter what" or if you're married "I vowed Til Death Do us part" because obviously the guy has no qualms about breaking either of them.

Honestly, any woman that stays with a guy that has punched her in the face is the stupid one in the relationship. And just like one of my sisters, if there is absolute proof of his repeated unfaithfulness, why do you not even think twice about taking him back? He obviously doesnt give a damn about you if he's bumping pelvises with the chick that lives three doors down from you.

PLEASE explain this to me.

My husband is very posessive, physically and verbally abusive and suffers inferiority complex because I have been financially stable than him even before marriage 10 years ago. We have been through hell and back as a result of that. He assaulted me 10 months ago and since then I have not had sex with him because I have lost the love and respect I had for him. Could he be having someone somewhere to take care of his emotions. Not that it worries me but I feel curious to know.

it's called hume lake, and it's the most amazing place on EArth
i love it and look forward to it every year.
after camp this year, i found out i can't go anymore.
we're going to another camp instead.
i met this guy at this camp that's really awesome adn i have all these great memories.
i got the band's cd (the band that played there) and i can't take it!
i'm freaking out about it adn i don't know what to do!

I work in a video store and this woman CREATES a scene every time she comes in. Im pretty sure she is agitating the situation just to start arguments. She has had several other arguments with several other employees so i know im not the one starting the trouble. I try my hardest to avoid conflict but we seem to argue every time she walks in. i tottally moved to a city 3 hrs away this summer. school has been going on for about 5 weeks now. I love it her! I have so many friends its not even funny. It seems like all the guys think I'm hot, but now I have a problem. I've got a crush... ALREADY. yeah. he is so hot. He's even in all my gifted classes. (4 classes.) The problem is, he has never gone out with someone, I havent either. He never tells his friends who he likes, i never do either. The other problem is all these other girls in my class like him. He is kinda shy, but can be social. I'm very social. The thing is, he stares at me sometimes and i catch him, then sometimes i stare at him and he'll catch me. It is actually quite embarassing for a few seconds.
Well, anywho, the question is, how do I get him to like me. Also, how can I start a convosation with him. It seems like i can start one with everyone else, but i get nervous to say anything to him. I dont know if he likes me yet, but there is a great possibility.

okay so my boyfriend and I live in a nice gated apartment so i would assume the people that live here are well off and nice. Last month my boyfriend was at the local skatepark which is small and one of our apartment neighbors was there skating as well with his wife. After a while my bf and him started talking and they relized that we all lived in the same apartment. Our apartment is made up with several different big buildings and our building is across from theres.

okay so the other couple is about 8 years older then us. ( we are 21) and while talking with them we also find out they 'smoke the herb' as do we. they want us to come over and watch a movie or bbq with them, however I am nervous they will want to smoke first, which I am not an openly smoker.

We were ignoring them at first, but I decided to say HI when I saw them outside a while ago so they wouldnt think we were rude ppl. Now i feel pressured to go hang out with them or something. am i just being anti social or what?

I like this guy in my class but he has a girl friend. and today I saw a picture of them together and he looks so happy with her and thats how I want him to be, happy. There were no feces, bugs or really bad things found-just a mess. She had just delivered their third child and they got home from the hospital--not even home an hour before DHS came, inspected and took the kids. Well, at nine months pregnant-how clean can you keep house? Or when you are at the hospital, how clean would your working husband keep the house? The other children are 5 and 2 1/2 years old.
DHS won't let them have their children back until they take a test and the charge for the test is $850.00 which they don't have. If DHS requires a test, how can they charge the parents? What would a test prove anyway?
Also, the parents don't read really well, which doesn't mean they aren't good parents, but could give them problems on a test if it isn't oral.
They have a lawyer, but court-appointed and he's of limited help.
There's no physical abuse, they are very hard working, loving and doing the best they can, getting almost no help from family.
I want to help, but how?
