when he say btw i cant give you any commitment.?

he had a wife @ hong kong, he's going back to hong kong to accompany his wife but we still wking at the same place n close but he say " btw i cant give you any commitment, we are partner, right." what does he mean??

He wants to make sure you are available for him when he is not with his wife. He doesn't want a commitment, just a booty call.
