my husband joined the army (after being my dependent while I was active army) knowing what he would face since joining after the iraq fiasco started. What do those of you who oppose this war + keep their opinions to themselves on post do to ease the separation time especially if the FRG (family readiness group) is really not the place for someone like me (in terms of not being able to find solace in a group of spouses whose hubbies are career soldiers + can't honestly relate their opinions and feelings since everything there is meant to keep the army + its activities in a positive light as an end goal. because how many "successful" enlisted personell and officers have spouses on base involved in FRG that decry the war. Also, his benefits are NOT something he was going for or that I need 2 use since I have my own insurance and means to support our family. There wasn't a single financial/benefit based reason for him to join. He just wanted to "volunteer" and I feel its abandonment

I used to know a code that you could put into your outgoing email messages. This code would then send a reply back to you informing you when someone opened your email.

Does anyone remember this code? If not, don't respond.

I was speaking to an elderley chap today and he pointed out a van which had the logo ENGLISH - and he was quite happy. He was talking about the state of the country and how he had fought in the war etc., etc., and said he might actually change his name to the above. I do not expect anybody will want to change there name through loyalty to their own family name - however, if it was not a big deal - would you do just that.

I want to get over him and not want him back. He broke up with me and never realy gave me a reason why. So I was hoping some of y'all could give me reason why I shouldn't want to be with him. He no longer speaks or looks at me even though I see him nearly everyday. He's acting like a jerk but I still love him. i know he wants nothing to do with me, he has told me he dosn't love me and "us" will never happen again. How can I force myself to believe that hes really no good for me?

Only one of the following could be saved; the other ones must die:

1. Your father (who worked till he ached his bones to raise you)
2. Your mother (who gave birth to you)
3. Your spouse (who loved you more than anything)
4. Your daughter (who behaved well and obeyed you)
5. Your son (who did everything to honour you)
6. Your granddaughter (who pleased you in every way she could)
7. Your grandson (who was determined to make your clan known to every single person in the world)
8. The Pope (you are a devoted Catholic)
9. Your favourite pet (which once saved your life)
10. Your professor (who treated you as a soul mate and did his/her best to guide your way)
11. Your best friend (who stood by you through thick and thin)

Assume they were all alive and you had to make the choice in front of them... they would know if you didn't save them... and the ones you did not save would die slowly and painfully... in the most painful fashion beyond human imagination.

No offence meant, just wondering

There is a girl in my 2nd period who treats me like i've done something to her, the funny thing is, i haven't. She's mainly saying bad things about me, she even told another girl something and pointed to me while smiling. The other girl laughed, with one of the hugest grins on her face. What does this mean? I haven't done anything to the girl but she treats me as though i have. Maybe she likes me but is secretly hiding it?

I have a tendency to run away when things get stressful or bad. I was talking to my brother yesterday and I asked him what he and my ex-husband had been talking about in e-mails and he said its between the two of you. I said Okay and then hung up. It was wrong on my part.

I want to correct this behavior and now have heard it from several people.

I felt hurt because my brother had said things from the e-mails to my cousin and Dad, but would not tell me. My cousin told him to call me and he did not. So I called him.

Also, my ex-husband has said that he will not allow me to come to my daughter's graduation. She is 14 and in 10th grade. She will be graduating in 2 years.

How do I learn to be strong and not let rejection and other's feelings about me get to me?

I like to keep myself emotionally disconnected from relationships. When I do this I never get hurt and it feels wonderful. Is there anyone out there that feels the same way as I do.

Our relationship is surely a roller coaster ride, not like any other normal relationship you'd encounter.
He courted me for 3 months in our junior year. When I started to be his girlfriend, it was one of the happiest days of our lives. After 3 months, we broke up, he wanted us to get back together, I loved him then but I did not want for us to get back together because of my parents.
Senior passed, he courted me again before the summer of our college years. We were on again for the first and second years of our college life. Our relationship then was good, almost perfect except for some small fights. And then another major break-up came before I graduated college, I got busy with thesis and on the job trainings then, I did not even had the time to miss him but of course I still loved him. Another guy in college also courted me but we did not end up together. That time, my boyfriend had also another girl who he courted and they ended up together. They've been with each other for --
