My girlfriend and I were planning to spend some time at Kovalam and was wondering if it is possible for us to stay together in the same hotel room. Would any of you have thoughts/ideas/leads on that. Kovalam is in kerala and both of us are from kerala.

Yeah yeah India is fine with it! Ok Indians may not do this, but usually tourists are taken with a different approach. Kerala is a nice place to go and people there will be very inviting. And as suggested above take 2 cheap rings with you just in case. Its mainly the more Muslim countries that are a bit more conservative.

I don't know what to say..I never had a boyfriend ..I had just a husband ...Perhaps she loves you anyway....if she accepted to stay in a hotel room with you..unmaried
