Question

I have to explore two relevant influencing factors which would affect different aspects of childhood and family life.can anyone think of any factors which has affected them as a family and their children. eg divorce ,abusive parteners.

(1) alcohol and drug addiction causes danger, stress, distant relationships, physical and mental abuse, divorce, premature death, out-of-control expenses, sex problems
(2) not physically loving each other like hugging and kissing alienates relationships, causes rejection, anger, jealousy, bitterness, kids to seek approval of others (join gangs)
(3) not sharing household chores as a family, causes lack of discipline, teaching kids how to work and prepare them for life, lack of self-confidence, and sense of a team spirit
(4) yelling and screaming causes relationship rifts, teaches others to not communicate openly and share feelings in a healthy way
(5) negative attitudes and belittling, cause poor communication skills, anger, resentment, abuse, enforces bad attitudes towards others

I know of a person who still remembers so much about his childhood that he had said to me that the word "If"was so powerful that if the word hadn`t had such an influence on his life then, today he would have been a totally different person,I said Everyone could use the same word in other aspects & that one should move on & make the best of the situation presented.Don`t cry over spilt milk.

My Marriage broke up when my daughter was two tears old, it never affected her because she was so young and there was no abuse involved i think that it depends on the age of the children and how long the abuse has been going on and how much they have seen. good luck with your survey.

I would say the main factor affecting aspects of family life would definately include abuse and perhaps divorse.

Me I destroyed my family by work, I worked every hour I could get thinking that I was providing well for my wife & Kids, Guess what I am on my own,It destroyed me and my relationship with my children even though they are all grown up my daughter has never forgiven me.
