I have a tendency to run away when things get stressful or bad. I was talking to my brother yesterday and I asked him what he and my ex-husband had been talking about in e-mails and he said its between the two of you. I said Okay and then hung up. It was wrong on my part.

I want to correct this behavior and now have heard it from several people.

I felt hurt because my brother had said things from the e-mails to my cousin and Dad, but would not tell me. My cousin told him to call me and he did not. So I called him.

Also, my ex-husband has said that he will not allow me to come to my daughter's graduation. She is 14 and in 10th grade. She will be graduating in 2 years.

How do I learn to be strong and not let rejection and other's feelings about me get to me?

You learn to be strong, by praying to God for the strength, that you need, stop being so nice and cool. Stand up for yourself say no, be mean sometimes, and don't take no for an answer. You a person to don't let anybody walk over you.

You may have some self-esteem issues. It might help if you can talk with a therapist or family councelor about it.
