I have been in a relationship with a guy for almost 6 months now. We are both in our 20's. We really like and care alot about eachother. The thing is, our parents don't know about it. I think they kinda suspect it but they haven't figured out yet. They've asked both of us about it, but we haven't come out with it yet. I think we should just tell them so they can hear it from us, even though they may not agree with it. He feels like if we tell them then it will create pressure on us, as far as them feeling like they have even more of right to be up in our business about how the relationship is going, whether or not he is treating me right, and so on because our families have been knowing eachother all of our lives. I can see where he is coming from and I don't know what to do. We both have been really honest with eachother about our feelings and they are genuine. We have a pretty solid relationship so far. We both have good intentions for eachother. What should we do?

My ex bf left me 7 months ago, he was mean to me and everything and i still loved him. But now i got a new bf. He loves and adores me and the other day my ex saw us together. My bf was sweet and nice to me and my ex saw that.
Do you think that he felt a little jealous? It's not that i'm using my new bf to make my ex jelaous but i'm just curios to know what he felt.

Everytime I would visit she would feel the need to make negative comments about my hair or insult my opinions or she does not like my way of thinking. She acts like she can do no wrong, and it makes me so mad. I do not insult her, and try to hold my tongue. This last time I had it with her insults so I left.

My mother in law goes on about how my daughter looks just like her son, or just like her when she was little. She says she gets her curly hair from herself (even though I have naturally curly hair) and other such like rubbish. She invites herself around when she likes and when I ask her to call first, she simply refuses and says "well I won't come at all then, why should I phone").
She discludes me from family photo's. Says she hopes our child will be a boy so we don't need to have more(like it's any of her business).And has a very jealous attitude towards me sometimes.
Is she a crank or am i just too sensitive?

When i try to go to sleep i think i about someone close to me thats dying in pain. I it scares me and makes me think that one day i will wake and my mom or sister will been died and gone to the afterlife. How can i change this feeling, I mean i know my mom is going to die but i don't want her to die when i'm 10 years old.

I have a son 19 who is a college student and he is currently working and saving his money for school in the fall. I also have a stepson who is also currently working but he is a high school drop out and he has no intention of going back to school. I know it wouldn't be fair to ask one for money to help out and not ask the other. They both eat a lot and they both are usinga lot of water and our light bill is over $300.00 this month. I am married to my stepson's father and we have decided to ask them to at least pay the water bill and help with the groceries. Is this fair? What should we do?

On December 21, I will turn 50 years old. I've never had a wedding nor a baby shower nor a sweet sixteen. (I'm single and childless.) So I thought, why not have for my fiftieth birthday a Cincuentanera? A Latina girl has a Quinceanera (or Quincenera), a big birthday party when she turns 15. Well, 50 is the new 15!

I'm wondering about party themes, dress styles (girlish or matronly), quinceanera traditions adapted for the 50-year-old, and so forth. I might also dress up as a Quinceanera/Cincuentanera for Halloween. So, what are your ideas? Also, should I have the party in January, since my birthday is so close to Christmas?

When I was in labor my husband then had the nerve to ask if I wanted to have sex. Last night I went to th ER my blood pressure out of control. I feel like every thing in my body is going to explode. My wife has been under alot of stress lately due to her grandfather having cancer. It has been compounded by the fact that her mother who is the next of kin has been out of the state on a vacation that has been planned for over a year. Over the weekend my wife has had to make some pretty tough decisions that were not made due to no living will.

The stress is understandable, and I have tried to be understandable. However, it seems like everything I do no matter what is not good enough. She is yelling at me and our son and I don't know what to do. The littlest thing is setting her off. I have tried to let her know that I am there for her. I am doing more around the house but in her view its not enough. I took off work yesterday and stayed at home with our son since our babysitter fell through which isn't that much of a problem but its our "christmas season" at work....any suggestions.

I have had couple of thought of doing it, i never had true friends because my we moved a lot. nobody truly got who i was, not school or even my family.. i saw everyone else having fun with their life, loving their life, but i on the other hand hated it, i was getting depressed by the moment, everytime when i was alone (which is many times) i always thought about killing myself.. but now i have many friends, i love life to its fullest and i hope i would never be in that corner again, never knew the value of friends as i do now.

does anyone have that old feeling about getting married and kids. im not married have a12 month old son out of wedlock with a man that i was with for 5 years..but for the last 2 years we not been together. we do love eachother..and still have a hard time letting go...we are living together for the next year to save money..i just found out im preg. and feel that this the point where we forget past problems get married and have this family.am i the only one who still feels that if you get preg you get married.
