Friends - March 2007

ok so let me ask everyone this.... this june i finally graduate high school, and my mom lives in hong kong and i use to live in singapore my junior year so i have good friends there and my friends wants me to visit them in singapore, korea, and tokyo, which i want to go so bad. the thing is that they end school early june when i end school june 20, and if i wasnt going to graduate i would have left straight after school ended, but it is my last year so it feels like i should hang out with my friends from the states, but i just dont know when to go to asia, i would love to go to asia as fast as i can, but it feels like i am going to miss out in the states.... please help

well, i think my friends are such like geeks, not nerds, geeks, videogames geeks, they just pass all the day playing vgs, and talking about it, it looks like they don't have a life, but i don't play videogames all day long, or even talk about them too much, that's why we haven't communication (important in a friendship) because we don't understand each other, i feel that i wanna participate + in our friendship, but this cycle don't closes up, i don't wanna find other friends, and less i don't want 2 join them playin videogames, they r traumatized, what 2 do? how 2 close this cycle?

Well he started talking to this girlfriend of his and she hasent talked to him for 7-10 months because she ditched him to be friends with these snobs. anyways since hes been talking to her and everything he used to do with me, hes been avoiding me. i told him that ever since him and her had been friends again its like im invisable to him. i yelled at him and the yelling at him made him talk to me. he used to save me a seat on the bus when there wernt anyleft and when i sprang my ancle let me use his shoulder to limp on. i dont know if this is the end of the line. is it?

B4 i start, pls dont judge me. I just want advice. Ive been working for an employment agency for 3 months now. They've placed me with a really great company and told me that after my 3 months were up, the company can hire me permanently. I have to tell you that my bosses (at the company im working for) are somewhat cool. The male boss is really cool and has been pushing to get me hired permanently. But his boss is a female and she likes to point out my bad qualities and broadcasts my mistakes. Well the rep from the agency just called me to tell me that my contract is being extended for another month and 1/2 and then after that time, the company may decide to hire me on. They are also restricting my responsibilities. Mind you, any mistakes ive made haven t been major ones, and ive noticed that when others in the office make mistakes, its overlooked and not talked about. (fair? not really but oh well) Now heres my dilemma, I like the job, and my coworkers, but is this treatment right?

First of all. I am a size 18. My boss is 5'5 and is a medium. We went out as a co-worker group. And he acted really strange. He would make sure that there was a chair between us or make sure that he would sit totally away from. We were at the restaurant and there were two menus to share between 6 people. I go to the next table and get an extra menu and hand it to him trying to be polite. He ask the waitress to go get him a menu so he would not even look at the one that I got. So I think because I am bigger and he is skinny with "healthy" that he is disgusted by me? It was like he was saying " Hey I am in no way involved with this girl" I am not at ALL attracted to my boss. I am married. SO how do I make him feel comfortable and let him know that I am not attracted to him at all and there are no worries. Without making it worse. Or if he has a fat phobia how do I tell him to get over it without making it worse. But letting him KNOW that it hurts my feelings when he acts this way. HELP!

well me and about 10 friends were running around in the street and we walked to a shop to use the bathroom and when I was washing my hands she grabbed my guchi and so I yelled at her and said i'm not like that ***** and she burst out crying and she is was 7yrs older than me ( I am 18) and so she was like you hurt my feelings and she was always the tough one so she start cussing at me and so I finished washing my hands and told the rest of my friends the story and we left her and the next day she told me that she was gonna kill me and my friends and so I was like yeahright and so I told my friends and they got al scared because they told me that she just got out of prissin for murder when she was little she killed her exbff and they told me she might hurt one of us and so they reported it to the police and so the next day we were all spending the night at my house and we were hearing someone walk arround my house and we were the only ones at my house and we saw a note saying bye to life

Its not a big deal but she is my friend and im
worried about her sometimes.

We are totally different.
Im like the quiet pretty one
and she's like the outgoing popular one.

We had a huge fight over something soooo freakin stupid.
The argurement was about people.
I told her that you can tell what a person is like by how they act and look if you look into their eyes.

She told me no, thats wrong.
She said you cant tell by a person or how they act or by their eyes
how their personaitally is.

Who is wrong and who is right?

I've been workin wit dis guy for de pst 2yrs and at a party a few weeks back he told me he really liked me!after thinking about it i realised i kinda liked him too so i asked him to go for a drink!2 days b4 we were due to go out i rang him to organise our night out i got no answer so left a message! he never called me back and now i don't know what to think any more and i really like him!

my boyfriends best friends and his girlfriend have been having trouble lately and she's been confiding in us about their problems.however recently she has started 2 call to our house when she knows im in work.my boyfriend was very uncomfortable with this so he told me what she was doing.she hasnt come on to him or anything she just comes around to moan about her fella. its probably harmless enough on her part but i dont know if i trust her.she called around drunk at 2.30am a few nights ago and my bloke gave her a coffee and drove her home and she asked him not to tell her bloke where she was,i know shes having problems but i think that was out of order. should i have words with her?

Me and my current best friend are starting to drift off and I don't want this friendship to fail like some many others before this one.

She is over-sensitive sometimes and I just don't know how to cope with her. She gets mad over things that she shouldn't be mad at. But I think her and I have a close bond and I don't want it to end becaue I need a best friend in my life.

since monday my mate - lets call them A for now - has been acting really unlike their usual self. on monday he was more quiet than usual, and today he was totally silent and not joking about as he usually is. he usually starts talking to me first but today he didn't say a word to me until i started talking to him. so i ask him what's up and he just replies "oh nothing special. just some stuff" but i can tell it's more than "just some stuff" coz i've known him for quite a while now. so i told him he can cry on my shoulder if he ever needs to but just muttered "thanx" really quietly. i really do feel sorry for A coz i've never seen him like this before.
how can i help him feel better without sticking my nose in too far?
