Friends - March 2007

I have lost a dear friend to me b/c of a situation where she was dead wrong & I expressed my frustrations to that. So instead of telling her what she wanted to hear I told her what she needed to hear. We were thick as thieves & now haven't spoken for 3 years now. I have moved on & I have other friends but is that a bad thing.............telling ur friends what they need to hear & not what they wanna hear?

i have a friend that talks to everyone and knows everything about everyone. so she knows this girl that i dont like and she talks to her all the time. then the girl that i dont like calls me one day and wants to know why i want to fight her. but i dont want anything to do with her. the only person that could have given her my fone number is my friend. but i dont know if she really did or not. she says she didnt but i dont trust her cause she did the same thing to me with the same girl a couple months ago. and i knew that the girl i dont like wanted to fight me. i really need some advice from sombody. should i belive my friend or not?

theres this girl who is the complete opposite from me and i cant stand her.. so what do i do? i try really hard to like her because she is friends with my friends, but i cant. so how do i deal with her? because im going to have to live with her 5 weeks in the summer, and then go to the same school for 4 years..

I am very sad these days. Im battling a chronic illness that makes me so tired that I cant really get out an socialize and some depression from a failed pregnancy. I have a boyfriend but he is young and active and he is beginning to resent me for the limits in my life. Our relationship is pretty much over and i am looking for a friend to understand.

What do you do when you feel lost and feel like your life has no meaning? I've tried concentrating on work, but it seems pointless, nothing keeps my interest. I tried to be dedicated to my family but they have lives of their own and I don't really hang out with them. My friends are usually working and most times I'm not even in the mood to talk to them. I want to get out of this rut but it seems impossible.... :( Help....

my best friend is chosing her boyfriend over her best friend and thats not like her at all. its her first real boyfriend and a year ago she would have never done some of the things she does now. i dont get it because he treats her like crap and i wish i could change that but shes so oblivious to how badly he treats her. i just wish we were as close as we used to be. how can i become closer to her like we used to be without it being akward?

Yesterday was the 2nd year anniversary of my friends brother dying. He was hit by a train on his way to getting a haircut. The day after he died I found in my textbook a peice of paper from him that said stuff about a train and going 60 miles per hour and coming around the bend.That was the exact same thing that happened. Lucas was 2 years ahead of me and its hard to believe that no other student or teacher found it before I did. So I gave the letter to my friend and he kept it. Today I got another textbook and it said his name and it was his handwritting. I miss him alot. It still pains me to think about him and everything that happend. His family had suffered alot. About 14 years ago their family had suffered another lose. His baby sister had died drawning him a winter pond - icy and everything. Him or my friend wasnt born yet but its still hard for them even to this day. What does this tell me? Why me? Why now? Why after he's dead?

Sooo I like my friend for a long time already, and almost everyday she would call me and we would talk for a couple of hours for the past 1.5 years. I like her a lot, but she can't date because she's muslim and im non-muslim. However, friday i texted her to see what's up and saturday i texted her that i missed her and she texted me back late late at night saying she just came back from her family's gathering and shes really tired and she said plz dont expect me to call everyday... Soo im feeling kinda hurt from that and I don't know how to respond. i just texted her back i know i understand. How do I go to approach this? I really like her and she tells me literally everything in her life and I would be willing to marry her and convert to islam if she really does like me (i have no religion as of now), but I'm afraid to tell her because everytime i tell a girl that i like her, it fails..

*edit she called back yesterday but i kinda didnt give her a chance to talk about it.....

today we had a final exam, and were in a group for a business presentation - well both of us were up all night studyin for it, seperately ofcourse ( no contact).
Next mornin I met him, and he sat next to me in the bus, and we spoke all the way to the university. We were in class, and he decided to sit next to me, I am guessing it could also be cause he has a laptop too and needed the same power, or maybe not...
well after that - he and a few friends - went in the car home, and I spent 1hr with him - and him friend just chattin afterwards...
We went for coffee - and that took 2 hrs, he sat next to me, he even took a few snaps with me, and later on, said he was tired cause no sleep so put him pillow against my leg and was just lyin down... he could have just been tired....

after that i dropped him back home,

well - what's your view??
am i just imagining that he may or may not like me? is it just a friend kind of thing.... ????

My friends have way more perfect life than me. They are more beautiful than me. They got their own car. I'm the loser who don't got a car.

Today, I was hanging out with them and I felt jealous because they got more money than me. They can buy whatever they want. They bought a lot of pretty clothes.

I don't like hanging out with them because they make me feel so down on myself. How to stop this jealousy of mind? Or is it true that I'm a loser and they got almost perfect life?

About eight months ago i found the man of my dreams and started dating him shortly after. Now i dont have a single one of my friends. I miss them all so much its crazy. I've tried everything from inviting them to come get drunk with us, out to lunch, talking to them about how i feel and nothing changes. We spent every day together until Billy and i started dating. Now i've got only billy and i'm not nearly as happy as i used to be. they used to fuss at me so much to settle down its time to grow up now...and i finially did and now they wont talk to me. They intentionally exclude me from any girls night or any trips to clt to party. i just dont get it. I havent changed as a person just matured a little!

my best friends think im really wierd because I love dogs and I am shy with people but i am really good with animals and when strangers come up to pet my dog when we are on walks i can talk to that person for ever and at school all i talk about is dogs because I dont know most of my friends friends because im shy I dont know if this makes sence but should i just ignore her? My friend totally hates my bf but she has a right cuz my bf has been very abusive in the past.He used to get upset & aggressive when I would do anything w/ her & he has even called her up accusin her of weird things so I understand if she doesn't like him. But I did a terrible to my bf & flirted w/ a guy right in front of him (ya I know really stupid of me) & my bf was super mad.I called my friend to get advice & she said "You screwed up, you said sorry so give it some time."She also said things that I didnt really need to hear like how it would be good if he didn't accept my apology cuz it'd be better if I wasnt w/ him anyway & it's he probably wont forgive me cuz he's crazy.I told her today that I didnt appreciate that & I know now I cant talk to her abt anything relating to him or my relationship w/ him.She said she is straight up & says what she feels & I can't expect her to just tell me what I want hear.We ended the talk badly.She is my best friend & I don't what us to be mad.

i have a friend she just got a $7000 setlment and since then she has been acting like she is better thank me i was going to sell he a car for $500 my husband dad someone else who wanted it and would off pay $1000 but i said now cause my friend wanted it. well now she is say it is to much for the car i do all kind of things for her kids i keep them every week end and buy them all kinds of stuff she has girls i have all boys but when it comes down to doing something for me she always charges me and i gave her a dresser for her girls well she found a tv in the trash and it worked and all but the was going to cahrge me for it and to bring it to me when i only live 5 min away i think she is being gretty but maybe its me so i need so advice on what to do she has been my friend for only a year and since she has gotten this money she seems to be treating me much differnt she is my cusins girl friend and she just seems to be give me more headake then a freind should.
