Most people go through what you're going through. Your friend is getting older & she wants to have a boygfriend & spend time with him. Unfortunately that means you get left behind.
If he's treating her badly then she will eventually get tired of him & dump him.

New relationships often render people "blind and dumb". Especially "young love". You won't be able to "make" your friend see her boyfriend in any other light than what she does now. However, you can suggest that she make time for her other friends on a regular basis, scheduled time - like maybe you guys could go to the movies Saturday afternoons or Friday nights, and she could spend time with her boyfriend later Saturday or whatever. If she continues to be difficult to schedule time with, you will probably just have to find new friends and wait until this relationship dissolves. Good luck to you and God Bless.

That is a hard thing to accomplish. I had that same problem with my friend when she got a boyfriend. You just have to plan time for you two alone and maybe try and bring back to mind some of the fun things you two have done. Me and my friend once a month watched old movies we saw together that had inside jokes or we went out to our favorite spots. It was fun and it brought us closer.

I know how you feel but you also have to give her her space I mean her boyfriend isnt with her 24/7. Try talkin to her and tell her how you feel and you should work out a girls only night. when you have your boyfriend too you forget about the people that care about you until you need them for comfort. She's gonna need you if you say he treats her bad. Just be patient and talk to her but never get an attitude about it. We have to live and learn.

Sorry, but that's the way of the world. Your friends all find significant others, and then things are never the same again.
Maybe in time she'll start to come back around, but at first she'll belong to him. I've had a number of girls I was friends with hook up with jerks and losers, but it doesn't matter to them at all. They all let themselves get into and stay in crappy situations.

well I've been through this too. her relationship isn't going to last forever so just wait till the time is right and give her news flash and who knows she might realize that hes a bump in the road.but you need to still be her friend even though shes blowing you off because shes probably under pressure.

being that she's your best friend, sit her down and talk to her tell her how you feel. or you could write her a letter and express your feelings. if she is a good friend then she would start spending more time with you again. good luck!

You have to step back and let her make her own mistakes. Soon enough, she will realize that it's not working.
Trust me, it's what a best friend would do.
