if the just wanna fool around, well, they're both adults. But Hell no! He's just gonna use her, there's no way a mature man with a good head on his shoulders would want someone with lack of life experience.
Nothing wrong with being 20, but you know, your 20's are to party to discover yourself, to work towards your life goals. By now this guy would have already done that. If he was serious he would want someone who's already had some decent schooling, perhaps a career, so that if everything falls int he right place, they could settle down at the right time. No man who is serious about a women, wants to play daddy.
Is he separated, divorced? If so, he's gonna be having lots of flings, til he gets tired of her and moves on to someone more settled with her life. Sorry.

There's nothing wrong with that in my book.
If they have a lot in common and they have fun together.
Actually, I'm seeing someone right now that is 17yrs older than me... I'm 27 and he's 44.
Not everyone is OK with my relationship with this man but I don't care.
We should all live our lives the way we see fit.... and the heck with what other people say.

It shouldn't matter what other people think! Obviously you have a problem with the age gap, but since it's not your relationship, it isn't your problem. Don't label them by their ages. As long as they are both adults, age is irrelevant! It's not high school anymore, so get over it. If you were her friend, you'd support her decisions! I'm going to tell you the same thing I tell my son....worry about yourself and what you can control, nothing else!

It doesn't bother me. There is a 16 year difference which means he could "conceivably" be her father but that would be an awfully young boy and an accident. The age difference is striking but not un unusual. I am wondering what kind of relationship she had with her own father though. That might give you a clue about her feelings. If she is happy, be happy for her and try to be nice to him for her sake.

It would depend on how compatable they are. You are asking as if we are supposed to know them. A relationship between a 20 year old female and a 36 year old male can work if they are compatable. Simple as that. Thank you and good luck.

It wouldn't appeal to me personally (not when I was 20) and I wonder what (other than sex) a middle aged guy would find appealing or in common with a woman barely an adult...but to each their own.

My ex hubby is 37, his girlfriend is 24. He met her, moved in with her when she was 18, got her pregnant at 19, and to this day they are both very happy. Age has nothing to do with a relationship, it's how well you click and get along. As long as he is treating her with respect, love and adoration, then she is one extremely lucky girl.

I am 22 and the guy I am with is 34 so I dont see a problem with it as long as they are both adults and are mature enough to handle the age gap.

I am better with it at her age now than if she was 18 or under. Love do not discriminate. I would like to see her have more experience in life so her maturity can meet his level of maturity. Than again we must learn to "mind our own business". If she like it, you should love it. She have to experience her own life. Hopefully she has good counsel surrounding her.

age is nothing but a number. good for your friend. most women are more mature than men so there is nothing wrong with the age difference. be there for your friend and support her relationship with this older guy.
