i am the most popular girl in school (thats what everyone tells me) and everyone is also telling me that i am really nice do u think it is really true or do they just want to be my friend? and is it important to be popular i think it is

Hmm...well, personally, I don't think it's important at all to be popular, but that doesn't matter. Being happy is the most important thing.
With the other people...you can never be so sure. I don't know you. Ask your closest friends that question, because I bet they know you well.
There are two kinds of popular people, in my opinion. To me, you sound like a popular person who got that way because of your positive atitude and kindness, which is a good thing. Way better than the other kind of popular.
Whatever the situation, just keep up a good attitude and be nice, and just remember: as long as you're happy, life is good.

no it's not important to be popular everyone know's ur personality .even though u r not popular ppl are friend's with everyone likes u. u don' have to be popular u could just be nice to everyone and it's better than being popular cuz if u r popular ppl et jealous from u but if u r nice everyone will like u and u r great in ur own way and personality

I think it is important to you to be popular. I wasn't popular in school but, everyone knew me and I knew them. I had really good friends that has lasted to this day and that was more important to me. I didn't care what anyone except my true friends thought of me.

Maybe it is in high school, but once you are out in the real world, popularity doesn't mean anything. It's how you treat people and what you end up doing with your life that really matter.
I think the most popular people in high school get quite a shock after they graduate.
I was popular in school (not the most popular, but I had lots of "friends" and people that wanted to be my friend). After school all of my "friends" seemed to disappear. You really find out who your real friends are and it hurts a bit to realize just how many weren't real.

Well, life isn't all about popularity. Do you have any real friends? Try talking to them. What grade are you in? If your in 5th or middle schooll i can help.
Anyway, perhaps they do want to be your friend, probably because you're popular. Talk to someone you're sure you can trust. I am the most popular girl in school as well, I know what you're going through.

im more popular now than i used to be, and i like it more, but it doesnt mean you hav to be the most popular, as long as you hav some good friends which i bet you do then it is only a benefit to be popular because you dnt hav to be alone unless u wanna be, and you can get things easier

personally i do not think it is important to be popular. i have avoided being popular all my life becuase i find it more fun and i find myself with actual real friends who care about me, instead of the superfical ones that usually go along with popularity. however if you think it is very important to be popular, than that is who you are and you shouldnt change it. its most important to be who you are and not what others what you to be.

popularity is nothing in the real world. You need close friends not a bunch of groupies. You will be happier with close friends too.
