i have this friend and she is just such a LOSER i mean she thinks shes a dinasour sometimes and i love her to death but its embarrassing sometimes and i never want to take her in public but its hard because i don't want to be mean to her....what should i do?

Why are you such a loser calling your friend a loser? A true friend accepts their friends unconditionally.
Talk to your friend and gently tell her that the dinosaur thing is a little unusual. I'm not sure how old you are, but maybe remind her that it's time to act more grown up in public and you can play the dinosaur thing when no one else is around.

that's a toughie...stay friends with her. i have a friend like that and her weirdness is what i love best about her. when ever i'm feeling down, she always lifts me up. when we hang out together, its so much fun and its never boring.
i do realize that it does get a little embaressing, tho. i suggest telling her to relax when ever she starts acting that way. say it nicely though. you don't want to ruin your relationship.
i'm not saying you should not like her for who she is, you should embrace it and go to fun places where its ok to act weird.
my friend and i went to a 1950's sock hop [when you dance around in your socks to 1950's music] and we had a great time. we danced like we were insane and we were plain goofy. you shouldn't care what other people think; you should have fun.
even though its embaressing, sometimes you should act like a dinosaur with her. you'll be amazed at how good it can feel to kick back and relax. its fun too.

maybe she's doing it to try and make you laugh.
and if you're calling her a loser, what kind of friend are you ?Just be honest and tell her that when she acts like that it embarrasses you, and then stop and think about your "friendship"... are you always calling her things and putting her down ? maybe it isn't meant to be.

look friends is a gift , and it's from the good manners to accept the gift as it is , you should know that friends always have defects , you should forgive your friend , and not to watch her deeds all the time .
also you should be carefull of what she is doing , not to embarrasse you in front of public
there is a saying "who need a friend without disadvantage, he will have no friend"

Remember why she is your friend. There must be some good things about her. It sounds like she has some problems, but try to be kind to her, the way you would want a friend to be kind to you if you were in her situation.

i had a friend like that... eventually he became the group mascot and we loved him..
...answer... get a group of you guys together, its hard to support a loser on your own.
Happy to say the loser is no longer quite a loser after getting so much friend support.
