How would it make you feel if an old girlfriend contacted you after 20 or 30 years? Not to be romantic but just to say hello and see how you are doing. Would it upset you or would you be glad to hear from them?

I would be glad to hear from them.....I'd ask her why she hates me so much.....it was HER mom that make her have the abortion

Curious, I would be delighted and flattered beyond measure if an old girlfriend contacted me after all that time. What a fine thing that would be! Make no mistake about it. Any man would feel honored to be looked up after the passage of so many years by an old flame. And he will be hoping, like you, that the flame can be reignited.... Contact him. You will both be glad you did!

I would be more curious then anything else. Why would she contact me after 20 or 30 years out of the blue like that. When something happens like that there has to be a reason.

That very thing happened to me a few years ago. A girl I knew almost since birth (friendly families) and later on when we were 15 & 16 we had our first romantic envolvment. We probably broke each others heart a few times. I really loved her, but we could never seem to hook up for one reason or another. I want on and got married and so did she. So I get this letter from her, just to get together and talk about old times, but I had a bad preminition and never answered her.

Sure. Why else do you think people go to reunions. At that age relationships are more comfortably and can be well defined.
