I've been workin wit dis guy for de pst 2yrs and at a party a few weeks back he told me he really liked me!after thinking about it i realised i kinda liked him too so i asked him to go for a drink!2 days b4 we were due to go out i rang him to organise our night out i got no answer so left a message! he never called me back and now i don't know what to think any more and i really like him!
any ideas on whats goin on????

Well maybe he chickened out or he got involved w/ another girl. Have you seen him yet? Play it cool and ask him what the deal is. If he doesn't want to talk about leave it at that and act UNFAZED. If he gives you a good reason and wants to try again, go for it, but stay on your guard- who know's, he might be a player.

Drinking does open up a shy person. Keep cool for now . And maybe the next time something is said ( You can say hey let me give you my number and maybe we can go out sometime.) Men still like making the first move.

I have an idea. I wouldn't take it as gospel, but it might be a start. I'm going to illustrate my idea with an analogy.
Let's suppose that I go job-hunting. I start by sending out several resumes (tell many woman I like them); I wait for responses (wait for responses...lol); and take the first good job that's offered to me, ignoring others (take the first good-looking woman that avails herself and ignore others).
You never know...I was just trying to imagine why "I" would do something like that, and that's all i could think of.

first of all let me point out that you never acknowledged him until he came to you so...you dont like him that much...secondly he probably spoke up when he did because he had something on his mind that specific night like perhaps he just wanted to f*ck...now so here we are and you are chasing down a co-worker well to me it sounds like an all around bad idea...my suggestion would be to drop the thought of you and him dating loose his number and go about your life let him continue being the regular ole co-worker that he has been for over 2 years now and seek a man who is actually interested in you for the right reasons somewhere else

First of all I'm Sorry, Secondly are you sure he was not answering his phone because of You?? If I were you I would Call Him back and set things right. You have to let him know that he just cant treat you like a one night thing.

Before you jump to conclusions do you know if he is okay. The other thing is why did you call him? Is this what you agreed ?
I have a general rule I wait for people to call me if they want some thing. I call them only to see how they are. Don't be too available. Find out if he is okay. Then if he is fine and just did not want to call you respect that. LUCK!!!!!!!!

If this relationship hasn't gotten past that one party where you "tentatively" made plans to meet, then I wouldn't worry too much. Nothing is invested yet. Don't be desperate. If he likes you, then the excuses will disappear once he is not busy. If not, you are better off.

Get a life, don't make this twerp your project. So what if he ditched you, be glad it was before your first date and not after you dated him for ages, in love or worse yet preggo!!! Find someone else and stop drinking...it will age you fast.

I recently went over my minutes/texts and my mom got mad and I can't call anyone until April 3rd, and I haven't called my friends back for a while, so yeah. =P
worst cascenario, he's ignoring you.
but I really doubt it, though.
why would he tell you he liked you then not call you back?
that's crazy.

maybe he didn't get the message. how long has it been. did date night already pass? if it did u shld make him feel bad. just walk up 2 him and say: thanks 4 standing me up (insert guys name here)!. Then just utrn around dramatically with ur hair flipping and stuff. And just walk away strongly, no tears.
