Friends - March 2007

I have 4 best friends. One is a prep, one is a geek, one is a skater-chick, and one is just a typical-non-steriotypical person. The thing is, they ALL hate each other. THey are polar opposites, so they have different views on everything. I like them all the same, no best friend is better, but recently, because I can't always hang out with the same group of friends, I've been feeling kind of distant from each of the groups. I can't keep doing it, or I'll just be left out all together. What do I do?

Someone Has A Sleepover Or Invites Them Somewhere. And She Always assums That If I Hang Out At My Other BFF's Desk she'll Think Were Having A Sleepover. Its SO Annoying! PLEASE Help! And Sometimes When She Does have A Sleepover Its So Boring.

I just moved to a different state, and attend a new middle school. In one of my classes, i met a girl, and she seemed pretty cute. After like a month or so, we became friends. I decided to try to get her cell phone number to talk and stuff. But the truth is, i have a lot of friends on my cell phone, but none of them are girls. I really want to get her phone number and stuff, but how?

I called back one of my old friends, and he said that I should like make up an excuse, something homework related (like, can i call you some time because im having trouble with my homework or something) so should i just go and ask her for her number, or do what my friend said and make up some excuse.

I have a bunch of friends that always make fun of me all the time. They say the stupidest things about me and I usually ignore them because obviously listening to them will do me no good. They`re all 13 and so am I. What are some things that I can do to make them stop.(Telling them will not do anything)

for them and in your mind yall go together. and like when u hear him talk about things he did with other girls u get jealous and u get insecure about that person as if they were your own? i really hate that but i dont know what to do it drives me crazy and he knows how i feel about him and he feels the same way but we agreed to a good frtiendship no intimacy or lust thing, just friendz but i cant help the way i feel. what does this mean?

We were together 3 and a half years.
I left as i needed to sort stuff out as had a friend whos parnter had just committed suicide and stuf with my parents wasn't so good.
He says he hasn't had anyone else and last night when i was there i said to him that he meant the world to me and i really and truly did want to be with him (he already knew all this)
He said he did not think it would work between us and i said i know we would work and he said "well i don't think it would at the moment *anne" as i have a lot on my plate at the moment.
He has told people when they have asked if we are getting back together he has told them " no not at the moment we are having a break".
He is interested in what I am doing and wants me to show him my results of the correspondence work I am doing!
He is quite happy for me to go c him & says he hasn't been with anyone else & he never will be!!
I am stumped and don't know what else to do to prove to him I love him that much. Any advice from u men?

I have this friend, who I abesolutely like since I've met him. We beginning to get really close as friends, and he been telling people he likes someone. Sometimes I think it is me, because he sometimes acts different when he is around me, and I am too afriad to ask. When I told him I liked him, he didn't say anything at all. I am very confuse. Should I keep my hopes up, or should I just forget about it?
He is the kind of friend who is always there for you, and listens to you when you need someone to talk too, that is what I love about him. But I don't know, I also don't want to date him, because in his previous relationship with ends up breaking up and losing that person as a friend. I don't want that to happen. What should I do?

My friend liked this guy and was with him for a while.Then they broke up.I was stupid enough to start liking him when cece still did a little bit.We were about to go out until i just said this wasnt right my cece likes him and i dont want to do that to her.but my other best friend amber started liking him and cece still liked him.amber and the guy got together but then they broke up. I think this is all my fault because if i didnt start liking him then amber wouldnt have started liking him and nobody wouldnt have made cece sad.my mom always said never get with someones friend or someone that your friend once liked i feel that she was right because everything she said would happen happened and i dont want it to hurt our friendship.amber wants to get back with the guy and i think since it has caused a commotion between us all of us should forget about him but i dont know how to tell her that.What should i do!

My best friend that I grew up with when I was a baby, lives in Cali, but I live in another state. We still visit eachother a lot. He was on aim, and I said hello, and he just ignored me and signed off. I dont know whats the deal, but we never fight, and its not like we are going out or anything, we are just really good friends. We have always gotten along, but I dunno why he ignored me. It was my 1st time IM'ing him on aim, and I told him who I was, and then he just signed off!!! What do you think is the deal?

Who would you rather be friends with between Rolando or Megan?

Rolando: He is my best friend and he has a very exciteable personality and he gets wound up very easily and he has a personality like a big kid rather than an adult, plus he gets boisterous easily and he tends to dwell alot about what he's gone through and he is a bit on the immature side but he cares alot for his friends and Ive never seen anybody take so much pride in their friendships the way he does and he doesn't seem to have alot of friends or he doesnt seem to be very content with himself.

Megan: She is a laid back girl who has alot of friends and she is from a high class family who has alot of friends, she can be a bit on the snobby and stuck up side and she tends to favor certain types of people over the others, she is a mature young adult who is responsibile and she seems to be a very content girl, plus Megan is everything I wanted to be cause of all the friends and popularity she has.

I really like this guy, and we're friends. About a month ago he and his girlfriend broke up. Since then and before he's been flirting with me, especially after. He's told me 2 times that he loves me, but I don't know if he was joking around, or he was serious, but wanted me to think he was joking. Last week, he snuck up behind me and tried to blow in my ear. I have been depressed for the past few years and have been very quiet in school and around people, never did much on the weekends. But now that my life is changing I'm feeling better and I always want to do everything. I get soooo bored now when I'm not around friends but they think I'm just a quiet boring person. Well I was but not anymore how can I get this message aross so I'll receive more phone calls from people on the weekends and stuff?? Okay, so I had this group of 3 friends, and all 4 of us were like in a clique. Lately, they've taken to being mean and rude. A couple days ago, they came up to me (plus another "wannabe" that "took my place") and started telling me all this rude stuff about myself; how I had "changed" and everything. I had told some of them my secrets and made them SWEAR not to tell anyone, and at that moment they said it. Now they're spreading rumors about me, and many people have come up to me and asked if I had said anything about them. I've started hanging out with my other friends a little more, who are not so popular. I know this is shallow, but I'm worried what other people will think of me. What should I do?

Anna has been my best friend for two years, we have never had a fight. I started going out with a friend of ours, on the day I broke up with him she stoped talking to me. My other friend says its not becuase of the guy. Anna's live journal says she's mad becuase of my know it all attitude. I apologized, she didnt even acknowledge I was standing next to her. Anna is the type of person who is always mad at someone, I just dont know what to do. She's my best friend and I love her and I want us to be friends again.
