no there is nothing wrong with having friends who are younger or older than you. besides its only 3 years, big deal!

I'm 24, I have close friends who are as young as 18, as old as 30-something, and even 40/50/60-year olds. Most of my friends are around my age, but there is a 65-year old man who likes to go out and have a good time with the younger generation - and he's really cool and active for a grandpa (not mine).

Just because there is an age gap doesn't mean we can't still be friends. Just the kind of friendship it will be is going to be different, thats all.

some people might think it's not right to be friends who are either too old or young for them.
like once,i made friends with an australian guy who was 16.at that time, i was only 11.after chatting for a while, he asked me for my age.and i told him i was 11.right after that, he totally ignored me.i was puzzled.so i asked him why he ignored me.turned out he didn't think making friends that was too young is right.
but isn't that sort of, like.WEIRD?
people of any age can also be your friend!there's nothing strange about it.if you care about the age gap, then there will always be a limit to your friends.we all should make as much friends as possible.

What would it be strange ? There is no limitation of age when it come to friendship and love. What is important is no so the age difference but the connections between the people. By connections I mean what you appreciate in the other one : his quality, culture, ideas...
