I have a bunch of friends that always make fun of me all the time. They say the stupidest things about me and I usually ignore them because obviously listening to them will do me no good. They`re all 13 and so am I. What are some things that I can do to make them stop.(Telling them will not do anything)

I think I know how you feel, because I know a girl like this, but I DON'T consider her my friend. Re-evaluate what these people mean to you. What are their good qualities? What are their bad ones? Because from what you're saying it sounds like they have a lot more bad qualities than good ones. There are a few things you could do in this situation...

1) Tell them they're hurting your feelings. If they're real friends they would respect what you have to say and listen to you.
2) Grow tougher skin. Don't take it to heart. I still have to do this myself. A lot of my friends tease me, but it kind of becomes an ongoing joke after a while and we just end up teasing each other and laughing at all of the silly things we say. When you gain confidence and have a stable sense of yourself this "criticism" will just not matter so much to you anymore.
3) If their teasing is malicious (like they're threatening you, teasing you about physical/personal/touchy issues, etc) then you need to find some new friends. Anyone who intentionally and knowingly tries to hurt you will never be a real friend.

GL!

aww, i am so sorry that you have friends who do that to you. but let me tell you something, I am over 30 now, and i still have friends who do that...it sucks, huh? i guess some people are just that way. you can try to tell them how you feel but it may not be enough to get them to stop. maybe it's time for you to look for other friends-friends who are more positive, not just about you but about life in general. usually, those who always have mean or unkind things to say are not very happy with their lives, and nothing you say or do can change that. they will have to want to change. just never lose faith in yourself, though. don't start believing the stupid things they say about you, ok? don't give them that power. good luck to you!!

I would say the best thing to do is to hook up with friends who are not always going to criticize you. Another option would be to level with them and tell them you do not appreciate them making of fun you and if they are truly your friends they will stop.
