Okay, so I had this group of 3 friends, and all 4 of us were like in a clique. Lately, they've taken to being mean and rude. A couple days ago, they came up to me (plus another "wannabe" that "took my place") and started telling me all this rude stuff about myself; how I had "changed" and everything. I had told some of them my secrets and made them SWEAR not to tell anyone, and at that moment they said it. Now they're spreading rumors about me, and many people have come up to me and asked if I had said anything about them. I've started hanging out with my other friends a little more, who are not so popular. I know this is shallow, but I'm worried what other people will think of me. What should I do?

Yikes! Those girls are just rude little brats from hell! Anyways, you should be proud of yourself; why? Because you don't hang out with them anymore which is a sign that you've grown up quite a bit! I would just ignore the silly rumours for now. Anybody who comes up to you and asks you questions about a rumour are too stupid to realize that rumours are not real. Just ignore it; these girls are just testing how angry you can get. You're not alone sweetie, you're really not. Nobody's alone because there are people who are there for you!

amazing question. Leah is partly spectacular and on the spectacular music however the bigger difficulty arises whilst purely one determine is a provider. In that scenario a field try will in no way artwork and the breeder has only completed extra to harm their breed via passing on a mutation 50% of the time without probability of detecting it. this is totally real of regular sires who're used very often and/ or via use of guy-made insemination the place their genes are disseminated in a very intense frequency between something of the inhabitants. "field" checking out is likewise especially circumstances mentioned as "try" matings. this is a very undesirable and unacceptable approach for figuring out inherited issues even in the past there have been any DNA tests obtainable. Breeders will in no way get rid of inherited illnesses with try matings for the easy reason that there are such a good number of mutations and... you are able to no longer continuously % out people who're companies. additionally, if a provider to provider try mating occurs then the risk of producing an affected animal is 25% so the possibility nonetheless exists that an affected heavily isn't created from each mating, to no longer point out via that element this is too previous due... so why blindly mate without understanding whether a mutation exists with the opportunity of propagating extra of a similar problem? this would properly be a silly attitude surprisingly now whilst there are such a good number of DNA tests and well being displays obtainable. the problem isn't purely with the scenario "what if the two mothers and dads are companies of a recessive affliction" yet extra so "what if purely one determine is a provider." that's whilst the difficulty maintains to circulate undetected.

Unfortunately I think many girls go through this. I do not understand it, but girls can be very callous and backstabbing. Consider yourself lucky that you have other friends to hang with. It seems that the more popular girls are the less they know how to be or keep a friend. Loyalty is not part of their vocabulary. I am sure that other people have seen these girl's true colors before you did and probably do not believe much of the rumors. As they confront you stand your ground and own up to your statements. You said it and now you have to face the music. By owning up and explaining yourself people, believe it or not, will respect you for it. It is better than lying and getting caught, then you will look worse.

You can't do anything about the situation now. The rumors are gonna fly and you are just gonna have to hold your head high and wait for them to pass. If people ask you about the rumors set them straight, but don't let these rumors run your life. If people see you are freaking out they may start to assume that the rumors are true. Just act like your normal self, enjoy your new friends, and don't worry about your old friends or the rumors.

Mean Girls - but you were part of that scene for a while.

You care about what people think about you, as most of us do:

Remove yourself from the mean girls circle with a, "sorry, sorry - have a good life, seeya around" 'cause you will never be able to please them without being like them: mean.

The people outside the clique who have been offended by things you've said (as repeated by the mean girls) - apologize to them with sincerity and hope they will be understanding.

You may be a lone wolf for a while, but eventually you will hook up with some good friends if you are honest and sincere.

If someone judges you due to what they have been told by someone OTHER than you, you are better off without them. I believe that if they are (pardon my rudeness) dumb enough to believe it then it is THEIR loss NOT yours. you can find better friends than the people who spread rumors about you AND people who believe the rumors about you.

Remember what is hateful to you do not do to another

let the rumours fly as they will, if you do not give them weight and you don't respond to them they will disappear

the more you fight something the stronger it gets, so walk away and live and let live
