How do you know you would stir up something nasty, in that case something must have happened and you have an idea of why she is behaving like this. Tell your mom that you and your friend are not getting along, at least then she will know it has nothing to do with the family environment. If your really have no idea where your friend is coming from, then ask her. If you think you may know, bring up the "nasty" stuff and try to fix the situation.

unfortunealty this is all part of growing up and happens alot, tell your mum about your problem with your friend but tell her that you would like to sort it out your own way, Contact your friend and ask her what is going on and why you's are no longer talking, tell her you have a right to know if you have done something wrong so that you can either fix it or can avoid making the same mistake in the future.

First let your mom know that your having a friend issue and that your alright and that u can handle it. If u dont say that she will think she has to. Then try to talk to your friend, to see what the deal was. If u cant talk to her than try to make other friends there are a million more people out there.

If you don't know the reason, how can you explain it to your mother? other than to tell her that you are having a falling out with your friend. If she wants to know that, why not tell her so s he won't worry. And don't worry about your friend too much, if you are important to her, she will bring the problem up,or....... why don't you make the first move and just ask her what the problem is???

Just be honest with your mom, if you can't talk to your mom about things, then who can you talk to? As for your friend, give it some time and try and work things out. Don't push or rush things especially if she was the one who hurt you.

u can just tell her what's up. You never know. Your mom can actually cook something good that you never even thought of and it can save ur friendship.

Just say sorry, even if you didn't do anything. Just tell her how you really feel about the friendship being ruined.

I would talk to your friend and ask her what you did wrong, and that you have the right to know. and if she still does not want nothing to do with you, move on and find other friends.
