My boss sort of hinted of their forthcoming 15th wedding anniversary and I need suggestions on what is a good gift, not too expensive, gitf that won't look like it is "kiss-up" type, but just a friendly and at the same time professional gift for them. They are very close to me on a personal level also, not just work. Thanks

I hear this often and i don't quite get it. I know people discriminate against Gays, but Black people have went thru hell in this country and to me it's an insult to any Black person to say that Gays have suffered like Blacks. The difference is you can hide being Gay, but you can't hide being Black.

Ok...I am having so much problems right now. There's this girl named Rebecca in my school. She is THE prettiest girl in the school...she gets all the guys and all the friends. She has long dark blonde hair and this pretty green eyes. She wears Bebe and Guess, and she even has Chanel purses. Why can't I be like her? I have no friends. I have this curly red hair. I didn't mean to.We are good friends and get on so well together.I thought the flirting was just fun, I should have known.He asked me to marry him and like the awful person I am I laughed at him!!!!!!!!!
I really honestly and seriously thought he was joking!
And now I feel so terrible. I don't know what to do to make things right. I don't want to lose him as a friend.And if things aren't bad enough he is dealing with a serious illness in the family, and going through a bad time.
How can I make things right and go back to being the good friends we were without it being awkward?

So i just recently moved away from my hometown in January. I used to be really close with my 3 girl friends and now only talk to ONE of them, we were all really close and talked ALL the time. I made an effort in the beginning to keep in touch with them...I was having a hard time dealing with not being there and I would call them and talk to them about it, they didnt really have to much to say...but i guess what is there to say right??? Then after that I barely received any phone calls or anything from the two so I just kinda got the impression that they are only interested in the friends that they have near by....Am I wrong for not putting more of an effort or should I be thinking that they are not REAL friends???

My best friend(girl) says I should stop talking to my best friend (guy) because I'm now in a relationship...

1. she doesn't like my bf because apparently he was 'mean' to her... when she was the 1 tht slapped him every 5mins 4 nothing the 1st time she saw him...

2. Since she's 1 of my friends she knows that i always tel them how i feel about them like 'aww i love u!!'... she feels tht its wrong to say it 2 my guy friends when she does it herself

I am happily married and have been for 15 years took pity on a guy where i worked and befriended him cause he has no friends,ten years older then us so thought he seemed safe enough plus he stills lives with his mum.Recently though he has said i look gorgeous and he happened to have 2 tickets to sugerbabes concert would i like to go with him his treat i could be wrong but thought that sounded more like a date.He has met my husband and daughters cause only time i see him is around my family didn't want to give him wrong impression. ok people! when I was about 7 years old, my mom signed me up for girl scouts, and i quit because the teachers wouldn't give me my badge because i had trouble learning how to start a fire, so, i was really mad! i have been out of girl scouts for 6 years now and i really want to get back in and finish earning all of my badges, but my mom wont let me now. Because she thinks I will quit again. Its not fair! I wanna second chance!.........(i bet i could start that fire now...if they just let me try again) Please, give me the best posible answer! I really need to get back in there!

Okay. I'm moving to this new area. The only reason we are moving there is to move near my pawpaw's house. We would build a totally larger house next door. Swimming pool and everything. No one else in that area has one. Our house would be the only new house in that area. But then again, about a mile away are all these really expensive houses like ours wouls be. I think I'd rather move there to fit in with our houses large size. Even though my house would be large, would I look poor living in that area??

Okay, I like the area I live in because there is this hot boy, he'll probably never like me, but I still like seeing him at church. If I wait 2 more years, I can go to highschool with him. He'll prolly have a gf by then.

Or, I can move to another place 2 hours away, where my mom will build a new {totally larger} house with a swimming pool and everything. [way larger]. If I move, I can get a fresh start. Possible popularity and new friends and everything accept I wont see this boy anymore. I won't really miss this house too much. Should I move, or stay.
