Well I wouldn;t move to the more expensive area, because taxes cost a lot of money Like you have expensive houses all around you. Say if your house was worth 171,000 then a house down the street was built and sold for 400,000 dollars. Your house value would go up to 220,000. More real estate taxes. Also, the people who live in that area near your pawpaw house their taxes would go up because of your house. so it's a no win no win situation. LOL, do what you please.

Wow you sound like a spoiled brat. "Would I look poor"... who gives a damn. Are you really that insecure about yourself?
Imagine what it would be like if your family really was impoverished. There were times my family didn't have anything to eat except bologna growing up. In the 6th grade I only had two pair of pants.... you know what, I wouldn't have had it any other way as I look back upon it. I am STRONG, because things like that make you strong. I worried about REAL things. I bet you cry if you get a pimple.
I think you should really get over yourself and stop acting so immature over something so petty.

Honey, you are about to have a nice big house with a pool and everything and all you can think of is what you would look like????!!!!!!!!!!!
You should be counting your blessings, girl! Do you know how many people out there wish for a place with a door they can lock and call it home, let alone have a big house with a pool?

I never care what other people think. Why should you? And if you did look poor would that bother you? You're building a house. You're building a swimming pool. No one else has one. It's the only new house in the area. Whoopee! Thanks for telling us.

You are better off purchasing the cheapest house in a good neighborhood than the most expensive one in a poor neighborhood. Because you can always make the cheaper house better but the expensive one will lose value.

First of all, if you are worried about what other people think instead of the main reason why you are moving there, than you are a very shallow person. Second of all, you are poor because of your attitude. It doesn't matter what material things you have, what matters is who you are inside and out.

You are too worried about what other people think of you. If you worry about yourself and your family you should not have a problem. If people are worried about where you built your house then they have no life and should get over themselves. Live your life for you and no one else

Are you in some kind of competition or something. Why don't you think of people that are homeless, poor and jobless and see if you will look poor. Just be contented with what you have.

Not at all. You shouldn't be worry about what people would say. Honey, it doesn't matter what you do people will keep talking and criticizing. So, focus on what you really want and like to do and do it. Because, believe me, when it comes to them they don't care about what you say.
