i recently got in contact with a guy i knew as a kid,when we were younger he was crazy about me.he keeps asking to hang out to see what can happen between us i guess romantically on his part anyway.he says he s single and doesnt have any female friends but he does have female associates that he keeps in contact with over the phone every now and then.he says theres nothing romantic between him and his associates but i feel like theres no real way to know if hes lying or not so i think its best to keep it or a friendship level it makes it easier for us both.any thoughts?

My friend is having a huge party there and she invited me!! She asked if i could give a donation like $5 i wonder why she want me to give a donation. Have any ideas??? last nite:my best friend and my other friend hid on me for like 20 minutes(joking around) and i was a little pissed.then, my friend told me they were having a long talk last weekend. i was said "oh. what about?" and my best friend says "stuff and you" and i said "bad stuff?" and she said "no comment". it made me mad that she out right told me that they talked about bad things about me. i thought they she was going to say guys or something. its like she was putting it in my face for some reason. it sometimes feels like just cos im not emotional as her, i cant get bothered. what should i do?

I moved to a new city to go to university. I never had friends in high school and now was supposed to be my chance, but all the people i meet still just want to hang out with their high school friends. They said they were looking for new people to let into their group but that didn't really work out. they all live in a the same neighborhood. I'm not too far away, but I'm a little ways away.

My university newspaper says the only real friends you'll ever have is in high school and it'll never be the same after that; the best it gets in university is just clinging to your old high school friends. I didn't have friends in high school. Did I miss the boat? What did I miss out on? Could that be why I still don't have friends?

Lately I've had a great deal of trouble with friends of mine. Most of my friends have never truly gotten along since they got to know each other last year, but they tolerate each other pretty well.

After we came back from Winter Break, I found out Sue told a couple of my friends lies about me and they believed her. I eventually worked it out with them, but Sue was talking to another friend of mine, Dusty. Dusty took a lot of things out of context and I asked her politely to stay out of the middle of it so I could work things out. Well, Dusty decided that I'm the reason for her depression (something she struggled with years before I met her) and that since she decided to end our friendship, she's been feeling better, so much so that our professors have noticed. She has even gone so far as to post this on myspace and tell her friends her biased story.
Despite all this, I want to talk things out with her so she won't feel so slighted. But she's making a lot of people hate me. Advice?

They think I'm rich because I have a big house, go on a lot of vaacations (5 times a year), have the coolest electronics and things like that. Is it really o.k. being rich like that. O.k. so our school was having this pizza party thing, and i was sitting near my usual friends. One of them wasn't there but she is always mean to me and didn't invite me to her party. Lets call her courtney. Courtney was being mean to my very good friend (lets call her....) ali and also to my other friend Veronica. She was really being a jerk. My other friend (i've known since she was born) Sahrah, wanted to bring her a pop (mountain dew). Courtney was sitting w/ other people but she wanted to bring her a pop to make her feel better. Normaly i wouldn't care but i gave her the pop and my friend Ali wanted it. But i gave it to Sahrah. So i told her that she shouldn't show her sympathy right now because she is always been such a jerk to ali. And she went anyway. I was defending ali and Veronica. And than after that all of them. (even veronica and Ali, where acting mean to me. I called ali 2 times and she didn't call back and I just saw sahrah on aim and when i said hey, she signed off.wtd
