I'm 53 and been married 3 times, jealously can kill the best of relationships, always trust your mate and don't question them, if it is to be, you will find out soon enough and then and only then can you decide what you will do, but don't spend all your time worrying about what if's, enjoy life and it's pleasures. i told my wife i have now, she can have me or she can have jealously, but she can't have both. I can tell you from experience, jealously is just like disease, if left unchecked it will consume you and destroy all relationships in your lifetime

Are you sure he might be lying? Lack of trust can lead to really bad relationship problems.
If so anyway, try to catch him red handed, without making it obvious. If it's no use, confront him. I believe it's the best way and eventually, the most effective.
Try to remember though, it's your job, as well as his, to keep this boat floating together, k?
Goodluck,,

p.s: and it's spouse btw ^^

That's way too open ended. About what, and what are the circumstances, and why are you in doubt? Not enough to go on. I will say, however, that you should be able to talk to your spouse well enough to express your doubts diplomatically and have a productive conversation.

I used to work in security, and was trained to watch people's behavior. Usually when people lie, the look up, and to their left while they're talking to you. Look for other little ticks, such as fidgeting, etc.
If your still not sure, you could always see if their story matches with someone else's.

Ask them a question about whatever it is you think that they are lying about and then rephrase that same question and ask it to them a week later and see if the answer is the same. if the second time that you ask the question and they hesitate to answer then that means that they are lying.

You can never tell. You have to trust your spouse or hire a private detective. Even with a spy guy things aren't always as they appear.

One way of telling is body language. Does he look at you straight in the eyes when speaking this subject? How is his body language reacting to your questions. Make a note of this.
