i recently got in contact with a guy i knew as a kid,when we were younger he was crazy about me.he keeps asking to hang out to see what can happen between us i guess romantically on his part anyway.he says he s single and doesnt have any female friends but he does have female associates that he keeps in contact with over the phone every now and then.he says theres nothing romantic between him and his associates but i feel like theres no real way to know if hes lying or not so i think its best to keep it or a friendship level it makes it easier for us both.any thoughts?

You can just be friends 4 the time being then once u get to be a little closer you will no if you want to go out with him

Maybe you should continue your friendship and make it clear to him that even though you guys have known each other for a while you want to be friends with home for a while because you dont want to get into relationship right now, and then once you get to know him and you see if those friends of his are really just friends decide.
