In high school, guys hug girls as a form of greeting...How should I hug girls? I mean I would like to know how to hug this girls without them thinking that i'm a freaking pervert taking advantage of them...? How to start a friendly hug?

I might sound like a total jerk, but i find my school work is far more important than friends. And lately my grades haven't been meeting MY standards. I've tried different studying tips and all, but i figured out that my friends are a distraction. And i want to end any realationships with them. So, are they really an essential part of life or what?

Well, there's this boy jj. And he's liked me 4ever!!! and he asked me out once and i rejected him... he went out wit probably 2 other girls since then and now everyone's coming back up to me telling me oh jj still likes u cause he told everyone and he's gonna ask u back out again... and now i think im kinda liking him, cause he's being really sweet. he even invited me to the movies this weekend.. Now my ex and I haven't been together for awhile, but tried the whole friendship thing....well, with benefits. I know I shouldn't but now my ex has found someone steady and has told me we can ONLY remain friends, nothing more. Yet last month when we hung out, one thing led to another, and my ex was with the new gf already. Recently we stopped talking, but this has happened before...where we stop talking then the ex comes crying and saying I miss you etc...if they just want to remain friends, why can't they just make up their minds and just leave it at that!?!?! Why the mind games??? One day it's "I love and miss you", other days it's "ok, I can't talk now, I'm busy, etc"....my ex knows how much I care and love em...but my mind and heart continues to be played with...it's hard to let go, but I know I should...right? I was completely faithful,loyal and loving...but my ex cheated...yet, I care deep down. Do they ever regret leaving you...once you've left for good???

My best friend and I talk on the phone everyday. And, usually, she calls me, and she hasn't called yet. She usually calls between noon and 3 pm, and right now it's 6:00 pm. Yesterday we had kind of a bad phone call, where I got really paranoid with her, but it wasn't bad enough that we're mad at each other now. At least I think so. I'm not mad at her, and she wasn't mad when we got off yesterday. But maybe that was because her mom was there... Anyway, I have my 2nd best friend over at my house right now, but she's playing a computer game on my second computer so she doesn't know I'm typing this. But I can't call her. we sit in rows in Biology at college, and directly in front of me is this boy called Mark, he's fat. Every lesson i can see his bum crack, i can't help it: it's a whopping great canyon of a crack!! ive asked the teacher to be moved (but not the reason why) and i wasn't allowed, what should i do?? i don't want to offend him, he's alright. Well, heres the deal... ever since 5th grade my best friend and I (been best friends since we were 8) always did the science fair together. We made a promise that we would always do it together. Well, now I'm in 8th grade and last year she found a a new best freind and so did I. But still last year we did it together with her new best friend. (Her best friend is really nice. And she's also my best friend now.) Anyway, this year something changed between us, and we just don't talk anymore its strange.

So, my other best friend asked me to do the science fair with her,and I said yes. Except, my other friend told me that Briana (best friend since 8) wants to do it with me again and her friend. I don't want to do it with them, because I sort of felt left out. But I can't tell her that I felt left out, it will just make things more awkward between us.

How can I tell her that I don't want to do the science fair with her? Plz I really need help!

i'm 14, and at junior high, i'm the geek who always gets made fun of. I have a bunch of friends who help me, but still, i'm a geek. Everyone keeps making fun of me, the way I dress, how i'm quiet, and etc. I dress pretty cool, but they just do that to bug me.
