He's my good friend, known him for a year and a half...he told me he loves me, (and i turned him down) and now im starting to fall for him too

BUT - its complicated...i cannot date him because my family would never approve of him...PLUS, i know that if we were an item, we would constantly argue and fight and i dont see it having a future -

also, im not too sure if he DOES love me, because after he told me, he said it was a joke of some sort (but he doesnt make jokes like that at all)

but i get on with him as a friend despit the countless arguments - what shall i do! He's my friend so i cant avoid him - and i dont want to avoid him...i just want to prevent myself from falling in love with him!

I LIKE THIS GUY WHO IS PERFECT FOR ME, EVEN EVERYONE IN SCHOOL SAYS HE IS. BUT SINCE I HAVE NEVER ASKED SOMEONE OUT, OR EVEN HAD A BOYFRIEND BE4 I WAS TOO AFRAID 2 ASK HIM OUT SO I ASKED MY BFF 2 ASK HIM OUT 4 ME AND HE SAID HE WOULD TRY 2 TALK 2 ME THE NEXT DAY BUT HE DIDN'T TALK 2 ME UNTIL FRIDAY AND ALL HE SAID WAS SUP? AND THEN HE WALKED AWAY! I TALKED 2 HIM ON A MONDAY AND SAID SUP? BACK 2 HIM AND HE WAS SHOCKED OR HAPPY OR SOMETHING I COULD SEE BY THE LOOK ON HIS FACE. MY OTHER FRIEND ASKED HIM WHY HE HASN'T TALKED 2 ME AND HE SAID "I DON'T KNOW... I THINK I COULD DO BETTER". I have three best friends, and they are all female and I am male. We see each other pretty much everyday and I do a lot for these girls, I am god father to their children. I call them my Angels and I treat them like queens. I am very appreciative of our friendship, enjoy spending time with them even if it means I have to go out of my way, and enjoy expressing my love for my friends such as with gifts and etc. We've been friends a long time, and been through a lot, but I always feel like they don't appreciate me.

Lately I've felt like my friends sometimes take advantage of me and take me for granted. Saying you care is one thing, but showing it is something else. They say that they care so much and love me, but I often feel so a lone. I do not ask for a lot when it comes to my friends. A simple phone call once in a while to just say Hello, but even that seems like too much to ask. Is it me, am I to blame? I don't know, I'm just so tired of this BS?

Well i think that i did one of the stupidest things to tell the girl i like that i liked her. i asked one of my friends to give her a note. when she got it she looked suprised and then said that it was sweet of me. do you think she like's me?? i'm in 7th grade and she also stares at me sometimes and also gives me compliments.

I know his name, and that we went to highschool together but we have lost contact over the years, last i heard he joined the army. what would be the best way to find him? Are detectives expensive? I have a couple of male friends who only really communicate on a functional level over the phone or via text ie do you want to go to the pub and messages of that nature. However conversations are more open and free flowing, face to face. Is this normal for straight male friends to behave in this way and would you say their really proper friends?

Im a straight single female and both parties including myself know that we are platonic friends (they both like other women and I don't fancy either of them). One of them has a girlfriend (who knows we are friends and has met me) so I expect communication to be less on his part. I have never had a boyfriend or been on a proper date so my experience is limited when it comes to understanding male behaviour (I am in my mid twenties)

A male perspective would be good.

I need some help in finding some old classmates/friends. I will accept only serious and truthful answers, so if you just want to lie to me or say something stupid, then don't bother answering my question. The classmates/friends I am looking for are Bridget Henry, Derek DeSanto, Trevor Howard, Joseph LaCroix (sp?), Lacey Steadman, Korey Schwab, Abe Coleman, Cole Newton and Victorie Bernier. Joseph and I were in the same 5th grade class at Oceanlake Elementary in Lincoln City, OR during the 1994-1995 school year and although we were not in the same 6th grade class, we had some exploratory classes together. We were really good friends. The rest of the people I mentioned were all in the same 6th grade class as me at Taft Elementary/Middle School in Taft, OR. I have tried searching for these schools on myspace, but they are not on there and I don't know any other schools that any of these people could've attended since then except for Joseph, who went to McClaren. Please help me.

This girl and I used to be the best of friends. We always hung out, like every day!!! We've had a lot of problems with each other for the past year or so. She would always put her boyfriends before me and her friends and would completely blow me off. She ended up turning into a major whore (and I mean that litterally!!!). So, we were cool again when she got with her new boyfriend. I had heard she was talking **** about me behind my back to a lot of people (most the stuff wasn't true and she twisted a lot of my words around!) so when I went to confront her about it she went all ballistic on me and said we weren't friends anymore. So I sent her an e-mail telling her off. We haven't talked since... but I just found out that she told some girl I don't even know that I had slept with the girls boyfriend... As much as it pisses me off, I do'nt know if I should write her about it or just let it go?
