ok well i have a friend who called me, she asked me to spend the night and my mom said that instead she should come over. I don't really want here over because i don't really like her. What should i do?

OKay.. My best friend has ...B.O! (body odor) and she is so fun to hang with and all that stuff best buddies do! But, her B.O is pretty strong, how do I tell her...or should I?? Please help me!!

Question Details: I like him a lot and he talks to me all of the time. We've known eachother since the 2nd grade and now we're in the 7th, but you know we've always been good friends. If it wasn't me than i don't know who else, but we used to "Friendship" flirt a lot. He used to pull my bra strap and i'd pretend to hate it and he used to twittle with my fingers, and he used to play with my hair. We played footsee a lot and every now and then we'd give eachother a 'friendly' kiss on the cheek. But now it's like we're just friends. I mean, we've always been JUST friends but to you doesn't it sound like we acted like we were more than just that? Now he has a girlfriend, and i'm second on his list. I feel jaded and like i don't matter and i know that he felt something to. For him i would do anything. And i know that for me he'd do anything. This girl he's with doesn't realize that i'm the one who's REALLY first. How do i get him to understand that i LIKE him more than just a friend without betraying us?

It;s wierd I'm really shy to make friends so I just avoid social situations and be by myself but sometimes I really want them as friends but I'm too shy and other times it's like a wierd pride or something, but it's wierd, because I'm not proud, I have no self-confidence. Maybe it's a defense mechanism or something.

When I was walking a neighbor's dog for them, a few kids who I know started shouting "DORK! Yeah! You walking the Dog!!! Monica!!!" And I completely ignored them. should i report this girl, because she is driving me crazy. i do like her. i think she likes me to, i have known her a few years, but the games need to stop

The girl that is having the party is 2 years old than me and my friends. She is kinda my friend, but she doesn't really act like she likes me. I think the only reason I was invited because 3 of my best friends are really good friends with the girl having the party and they didnt want me to feel left out. I just dont want to feel awkward there because I dont feel like the girl having the party likes me and there is only gonna be 5 of us there too. I have a friend, and I use that term loosely considering the way she's been acting lately, with whom I've been friends with for 3 years. Only until the last 6 months have I noticed that she's hanging around with new people and I've been swept to the side. I guess it's just a little tough because prior to that we had a good friendship.

During these 6 months, I call or email her maybe once every two weeks to say hi and catch up, but she makes no effort to do the same. I have spoken to her about it and simply asked her if she wanted me to stop contacting her because at times she makes me feel as if I'm bothering her. She proceeded to tell me that she wants me in her life and was hurt that I'd suggest that, but she just doesn't get it that it takes TWO people to make a friendship. I sent her an X-Mas card and I got nothing.

I've decided to stop contacting her and let her go. But is it just me that finds that odd - to want a friend and then not make any effort?

I have a new bf that was friend's with my co-worker/friend before I even started talking to him. When I started showing interest in him my friend was all for it! She totally supported it...but when i told her he and I talked and he said he was saving himself for someone my friend got mad at him. I continued showing interest in him and she was always mad at me, my guess, is that she didn't want me to date a loser. Now that Im dating him (yes he came around) she always gives me dirty looks and when im with him she flirts with him. Im guessing she does this on purpose because she was never like this before. What is her deal? I don't want to tell her to stop because she is 24 and im only 18 so that would just seem odd. help plz!!

I don't think I really have any friends. I mean, I don't hang out with people after school, or on the weekends. Sure sometimes I talk to people at school, but thats it. In middle school I had some friends but when eighth grade came that dissapated. I had another friends but now in tenth grade thats starting to disappear too. What do I do to make some friends and keep the old ones? We have no classes together and the school has a lot of students.
