I have 5 friends im really close to and I want all of them to be god mothers to my child, but 5 might be too many . I don't wanna hurt their feelings. Please help.

But ive heard of people (in hollywood) having more. The only thing about having GodmotherS is that it takes away from the importance of it if ALL your friends are one. Its not as special to those girls if they are all one. I would pick one that youve been friends with the longest, maybe helped out with your pregnancy the most, or has a close tie with your child. This is YOUR child and most people understand that its tough enough to just have to pick one.

Well, typically a God mother will step in and raise the child if you and daddy cant. So, this person should be willing to do this,be someone you would want to raise your child. This isnt about someone with just a special title,they may end up with a very important job.

There should be one godmother and one godfather for each child. That's it. If you're afraid your friends might get upset that you didn't choose them, that's THEIR problem, not yours. If they're really your friends they'll love you no matter what. Just look at the list of possible women and pick out who is the most responsibe as well as being good with kids and financially stable.

I godmother is good, pick someone you know will be in that childs life for a long time, I dont usually pick friends because they come and go i usually pick a family member. Make sure this person has good morals, and values, that is what being a Godparent is really about teaching your child how to be a good person, and supporting them spiritually too

the usual amount of god-mothers is about 1 sometimes 2 just pick the one that youve known the longest or u feel u owe them for them being there for you or somits like that

1. If they are any kind of friends they will understand that you can choose only one. They'll have to suck it up. Are they all of the same religion as you? If not you can eliminate some right there.

I think just one too make it special. If it will be your childs' real godmother you would get it done in church when your baby is Christened, or baptized

Depends what sex it is
1 if male, and 2 godfathers
2 if female, and 1 godfather
