Tell her to talk to her mom. She should make her realize what a negative affect this is having on her. I hope she will care more about her daughter than staying in a unhappy marriage. In the meantime, she is very lucky to have such a good friend in you. Keep on being there for her and offer to let her come over as much as possible to help her get away from her house.

Depends on how old the girl is. Moving out is an option if she is old enough. If she has a loving relationship with her parents, aside from their fighting, maybe she can approach her mother about the problem. She will probably be the more understanding of the 2.

Well if i was in ur shoes and my friend is coming to me for help, i would be there for her all of the time b/c your who she needs most. I would also mention talking to someone else such as one of her family members or even a counselor. Maybe if her family is real close to one another..she could just stay with another family member a while until something gets worked out.

I think you should tell her that if she wonts to see her parents stop fighting to sit them down one nite and talk to both of them and tell them that you think the family would be better off without all the fighting and aguring and if you think that doest work then i think she should go and stay with a friend or a close family member or maybe she could go to the school counsler and get some advice for he or she .

Encourage your friend to tell a counselor or another family member about what's going on. This isn't good and she needs some help asap. She should get out of that situation soon because things won't get any better if something doesn't happen soon.
Good luck!!!

Theres nothing you can really do but be a shoulder to cry on and be there for her when she needs you. Alot of people have parents like that. I used to, but then they seperated. I know not a good ending, but I got over it.

You should help your girl friend as she must be in trouble due to such situation. Please take more interest in her parents and try to know the root cause of such quarrel and take some counselor's advice to resolve the problem. Help your girl fiend and her parent.

i know how this girl probably feels....first, i agree, moving out is the best option if she can...if not, she just should try to start separating herself from her parents, just try to keep herself out of the fights...but more importantly, her friends(meaning you and others) should be her support group...talk with her, try to divert her attention, keep her busy, you know, try to help her relax and forget what happens at home...she should keep busy and out of the house, and find good friends...finding work, whether paid or voluntary work, is really good too

ususally, in this case it is always best to keep out. If her parents found out you were into their buissness, they would be very angry. Just try staying good friends ewith her and try to keep her off the topic to stay happy.
