My friend was super close with his dad, and him as his younger brother lived with him. (parents were divorced). yesterday his father had a massive heart attack and died. It was totally unexpected and I know he's taking it hard. I heard him cry for the first time ever and ive known him for almost 9 years. He lives in North carolina, I live in wisconsin, so there isnt much I can do for him. My question is what can I do from here? and will sending a card and flowers help at all, or just remind him and make him feel worse?

What are signs that a guy is turned on by you, or likes you? There is this guy and he is so rude to me at times, then he turns on the charm and is always really nice and sweet. He usally starts a conversation with me.

you have known a person for only a week and gotten to know them and you have you have bonded with them and all of a sudden you have to leave and ever since then you have been feeling depressed knowing that you have that persons number and you are scared to call that person if so plz tell me and give me some advice.

I want HIM to admit it to me, i was thinking of somehow making him jealous so that i can tell if he does or doesnt have feelings for me

If i ask him straight, i wont get a true answer because he is either shy, or extremely joky with me - cant tell the difference when it comes to him!

have 22 year old daughter, which has a lot of freedom, allowed to go where she wants, does what she wants, the only thing i ask is she calls me where ever she goes so i know that she has arrived safely, She lives with my husband and i and my younger daughter. She does no chores at home and when she comes from work every day she just lies on the couch and does nothing day in and day out. (works in child care) My problem at the moment is she has a female friend that she works with, and when i first met your had a bad gut feeling about her. Ive asked her not to hang around with her cause i have a bad feeling about her. She has lied to me about sleeping at other friends place over the last few months, but has actually been sleeping at her place. We caught her in the lie and had a huge argument, I always feel she is doing something wrong, as her attitude has totally changed since hanging around with this girl, now says wants to move out. which makes me feel she is up to no good.

Sometimes I just wish I would die..I'm 20 years old and once again I have no friends.I feel so depressed, everything in my life just sucks. I've always been too quiet, I just never know what to say. So because of that it's hard to maintain friendships. Last year I was friends with this guy I really look up to and I joined his group of friends and now suddenly he isn't talking to me anymore. I just want to give up, if I can't even make a friend whats the chances I'll ever get a girlfriend and get married. And that's another thing, I really don't think I can get a girlfriend no matter what I do because I'm 5'4'' and I always hear girls saying short guys are disgusting.

I'm 20 and a third year in college. I have been in an on and off relationship with a long-term, long distance boyfriend since I came to college. I've also dated a lot of other guys here. I just got out of a relationship because I started acting distant to him, as I still had feelings for the long-term boyfriend. I only dated this guy for 2 months. He phoned me up saying that "we are acting only as friends, so we might as well be." We're still on friendly terms, and I actually felt RELIEVED.

It seems that the majority of my interaction now is with the opposte gender, not in a sexual way, but they talk to me more. I don't like initiating conversation, and I don't want to sound full of it, but the majority of my social life in college comprises of guys hitting on me or asking me out, which is pathetic.

I currently only have one female friend, my ex-roommate, and basically a bunch of male acquaintances. Some of them start creeping me out and so I ignore them

i am no happy with the way the things are going in my life.and i feel like giving up every now and then.I 20 year male from india.I have no friends and i lonely.I always wanted to talk with people and make friends but the thing is that i do not know how to talk,what to talk with others.I mean i can't talk like a normal person.i am like a mum.I dont know what is worng with me.How should i live like this.IF i meet a person whom i know then i will just say " HI" and that;s all I cant say anything more.And if the person asks me something i will not understand it at one time.Loneliness is killing me.Now people just ignore me.Nody cares me.What should do to change this.I tried changing it but i could not succeced.Is there any ray of hope?
