Make a website and then start a viral marketing campaign on myspace or something. Check out some of the chain messages that get passed around and you'll get the idea of how to write it. I saw this done recently when someone's child went missing. They created a myspace page for him, and started a buzz campaign.

There is no other idea that's going to help you reach a bigger audience. This is the technique that even Hollywood is using to push product nowadays - and it's available to you for free.

This sounds to me a bit like stalking. You 'have this picture'. How did you get the picture? Did you take it yourself, did you find it, is this someone that's well known in your area so her picture is being circulated? Does she know you have the picture? Were you previously friends or in a relationship? Do you think this person wants to hear from you?

And do you own the copyright in the picture that would let you publish it?

She 'may be in trouble'. Is the 'trouble' related to you not knowing where she lives? You need to talk to a counsellor about that. Your pastor - or your local police office, or a support group would be the right places to start.

If you can't talk to Missing Persons or the police or the Salvation Army, this is definitely not a picture to put up on a web page.

Does she know you have the picture? How will she feel about being there on the Web for all to see?

If she's in trouble that sort of publicity will NOT help her.

Talk to the experts in this area and take their advice. Otherwise you run a very high risk of meddling but not helping.

I'm not sure why you can't go to the police, this sounds serious. Umm.. try www.xanga.com. You can post her picture there and tell people the website. You have to create an account though. It's free.

If this girl is in trouble, and the method used to obtain the picture wouldn't be be beleaved or was illigal then you could be putting yourself in danger in finding this girl!!
There is also the possibility that the girl is'nt in danger at all, and would take a dim view of her picture being advertised all over the web?

Why can't you go to the police? Try posting messages here and stick her photo on your 360 page. You never know, she might just be here.

Why can't you go to the police?

If this is genuine, then the police will be happy to help.

If it's not genuine, then you are a sad sad person.
