Sometimes I just wish I would die..I'm 20 years old and once again I have no friends.I feel so depressed, everything in my life just sucks. I've always been too quiet, I just never know what to say. So because of that it's hard to maintain friendships. Last year I was friends with this guy I really look up to and I joined his group of friends and now suddenly he isn't talking to me anymore. I just want to give up, if I can't even make a friend whats the chances I'll ever get a girlfriend and get married. And that's another thing, I really don't think I can get a girlfriend no matter what I do because I'm 5'4'' and I always hear girls saying short guys are disgusting.

Hey same height as Jon Bon Jovi or close, I met him once he was real short and yet there were alot of girls around me willing to rip his close off. Get a hobby, learn to play guitar, find you! A girl (and other friends) will find you when you find yourself. Give yourself a break go back to school, join a church group or donate your time to a charity. Like the song 'the rose' it's the heart afraid of dying that never learns to live. I had long arms and legs and small boobs, I felt that i looked like a spider! then I took some time for me and gave up dating, went to a night class. One day some one started taking photos of me. now I model and I am sure a lot of guys want to date me..... takes time, good luck.

There is nothing wrong with you....it just sounds like you have no confidence.
Maybe you should seek some help with your depression,
You could also join a club or something that you are interested in. do u play a sport or like dancing join a book club or fitness class or anything like that. or you could join a evening class at a college and learn something new That's great way to meet people.
Plus you are not that short, you will find someone one day. Just keep thinking positive. Good luck!!!

Short guys are not disgusting. So what if you are a little quiet. So am I sometimes, just hang in there and don't give up. You are still incredibly young, so there is plenty of time for good opportunities to meet potential friends.

first off, nothing is wrong with you at all! some people are just shy, and that is okay! (lotsa girls like shy boys, you know :]) And kiddo, this kid who you used to hang out with that just dropped, you...**** him. You seem like a very sweet kid to me and if he's gonna be a dirtbag, then he can be a dirtbag, don't let him drag you down. people are so selfish. Whoever said short boys are disgusting is a shallow retard, You are perfect just the way you are! Hang in there buddy. You'll find something soon, I'm sure. What usually happens, it seems, is that when we aren't actively looking for friends, we are. Being around YA for awhile, you'll make some friends easily. Hopefully it'll teach you to lose your shyness if nothing else.

tell me about it... we share the same problem.. i don't have any friends either, it's so hard to make one in this new place. i'm too shy and quiet that's my problem and i don't like being with people. i'm also 20 and in college, dating? what date?.... i don't even think i'm gonna get married, i just know, and already starting to plan for something in the future... but you know i just suck it up.... or i end up fighting with myself... still my hopes are up for something life changing.....i hope eventually i start to open up... that goes for you too... good luck to both of us.....=]
