Friends - December 2006

I'm in high school and I never had any friends throughout my entire life. I'm a random person. Sometimes I talk a lot and sometimes I'm totally quiet. When I talk a lot, I act like a clown, doing lame things and acting stupid to make people laugh. Everyday during lunch period I sit by myself in my school's library. In my school, I feel like I'm the only loner because I see everyone else hanging out. How can I overcome my fear of being called a loser? What should I do with my life?

there is this guy i know and i use to like him but i got over him but for some reason why he wont leave my mind i've had dreams about him... i dont know why i have had dreams about him....... im over him (i think) i dont wanna have a crush i know that sounds weird but it ends up with a broken heart well for me at lease i know it wont work out between us it never will (i think) last time i said that to myself i cryed in my pilow......why?...... why wont he just leave me for good why does he stay in my mind.....

There are a group of people who making me feel miserable and I did nothing but good for them and they feel they have every right to make me feel bad. I gave up doing stuff for them and they have passed rumor around and everyone believes it. I don't know what to do, talk to someone like my Dean or a schoolmate that's always been there for me... I want it to be resolved but I don't know how to resolve.

sometimes i get so mad and frustrated (over the stupidest things at times) that i get a crazy urge to "cut" myself - well its more of scratching, but wutever. does this mean i should go to counseling? it's been going on for over a year and a half (on and off).

just yesterday i was frustrated bc i couldnt find my phone - i was livid! - so i took a knife from the kitchen and just starting jabbing at my arm. it was just a reaction, and now i have 5 ugly scars on my skin - i'm so retarded! i want to stop but the compulsion is too hard to fight sometimes.

do i need help? or will this pass?

i met my best friend about 5 months ago at work and at the beginning, i thought he was a really cool, good-looking guy. i gave him my number and that night he called me and informed me he had a girlfriend. i told him that it was fine. i just wanted to get to know him better. so we hung out during 15-minute breaks and lunch breaks mostly. we would also talk on the phones at work and on our cells alot. well, recently, he just broke up with his girlfriend (of 4 years...). i really dont know what to do because i have developed deep feelings for him in the past couple weeks, but with him and his ex, things are going fine. theyre still hanging out and on good terms. also he just turned 22 and im about to turn 19. do you think i should do anything or wait for him to come around?

here it is again "Just wondering...because..for over a month, he has left my name signed onto his name on MSN Messenger..Just showing love to him you know..I thought by now he would of taken it off there..My guess is he probably won't! And also he has had our picture on his display image since October..I'm just starting to wonder if he likes me! So what?" Well all day he avoided me today, and he comes online with lil emoticons that say 'tickle my pickle' and showing alot of emoticons with sexual stuff. My boyfriend doesn't understand deaf culture. I am hard of hearing but i dont let many people know because many don't understand. I went to a Deaf Christmas Party Saturday and i have 2 more to go to next Saturday. He laughs at the fact that I went to a deaf party. I tried to tell him I'm hard of hearing and he simply said "I'm talking to you on a telephone right now." Well yes he was but i had the volume all the way up and could still barely hear him. He says i'm using it as an excuse to justify being at a deaf party without looking stupid.

I'm not popular at my school. I have a few friends, but there not popular either. But does it really matter? Like when high school is finished and I go to university, and then start looking for jobs or whatever, would being popular in high school affect any of that? If a person in high school is popular does it make the rest of their life better or make them feel better about themselves in the future?

I'm a freshman, almost 15, and only 4'11". I go to a small school with only 90 in each grade. I am made fun of all the time for being wealthy, having nice things (don't ask me why, I dont know), standing up for what I believe in, and mst of all, FOR BEING SHORT! I hate it, and I know I can't stand up for myself by fighting, im not strong. But it is constant, the making fun of me, ive tried everything, ignoring it, taking up for myself, which did not work out t well, i got my @ss beat, and they make fun of that too. And this hurts me bad, mentally. It's so bad they even make fun of me for having worked on a childrens full length professional movie (special effects). Im not a nerd either. Even know im short, I still have good looks, and a 6 pack. I only weigh 83 pounds. They make fun of me everyday, non stop, and it bothers me so much. About 55 of the 90 people make fun of me, and about 20 just never talk to me. WHAT SHOULD I DO? PLEASE TELL ME!
