Friends - December 2006

I have no other friends in school and no one else likes me. I fell in love with my best friend, (Nameless), and he knows that I like him. He's been avoiding me since I told him I like him and now I fear I've lost my only friend. WHAT DO I DO!?!?

Okay..well I was dating this guy, for a few months, and he eventually told me that he didn't like me anymore, after I left him a voicemail asking for a clothing item, I left at his house, he ven threatned to tell everyone including my friends, including his best friend, whom i was friends with (and she is a female) so the next day, his best friend calls me and invites me to his event , which was weird, because she never calls, actually I hadn't talked to her in like six months.And I got back to her a few days later, and she said that was okay, and to have a nice life, and so now when i see her at school she never speaks, we were walking to the parking lot and she walked behind me the whole time, without saying a thing, but what gets, me is why, is she acting like this, and do you think he told her something about me? Because what I don't get is he said that he would tell everyone my business If I called again, but I never did, i just don't understand it...

I mean I know people who aren't super outgoing with 100 friends.. and then more popular people with 500 to 1000 or so.. I'm just baffled at how people know so many other people, or are we talking about adding every vague acquaintance? This is just curiousity/envy , not so much a personal attack. thanks.

I introduced them this summer and now they're going out. They are full-on like all in love and stuff... and now one of them is trying to tell my how to treat the other one. I have been friends with her for a year more than he has.. and he just met her 2 months ago. He got all mad at me the other night because I said something to her he didn't approve of. There is this girl who is a grade higher than me and i used to go out wit her friend but it ended in a bad way. We talk every night over AIM and used to talk in person. Right now she doesnt even aknowledge me in the school hallways, but we have elaborate conversations online. She posts up things on her AIM like all i want for xmas is him. I have a feeling she likes me and has become shy with me. Its a lot of fun to talk with he online and if i ask her and im wrong, then ill lose her of if she says yes, then what if the relationship doesnt last. Its also an ego thing cuz my friends suck when it comes to accepting relationships with ppl that arent as popular as we r not that we are even popular. But i really dont even care. Also shes filipino, im a russian immigrant. lol. Mybe i shud try it online cuz she will be comfortable, but idk

My friend talks about his girlfriend constantly! For months all he has talked about (I mean ALL he has talked about ) is his girlfriend. When I approach him about his obsession he gets angry and accuses me of being bitter and jaded. He say's that I create all the problems in my life and I should stop bringing up personal problems...What should I do as this response makes absolutely no sense as it has nothing to do with me asking him to reduce the amount of his time spent talking about his girlfriend....

I went to a party, Mom, I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom, so I drank soda instead
I really felt proud inside, Mom, the way you said I would.
I didn't drink and drive, Mom, even though the others said I should.
I know I did the right thing, Mom, I know you are always right.
Now the party is finally ending
Mom, as everyone is driving out of sight.

As I got into my car, Mom, I knew I'd get home in one piece.
Because of the way you raised me, so responsible and sweet.
I started to drive away, Mom, but as I pulled out into the road,
the other car didn't see me, Mom, and hit me like a load.
As I lay there on the pavement, Mom, I hear the policeman say,
the other guy is drunk, Mom, and now I'm the one who will pay.

I'm lying here dying, Mom.. I wish you'd get here soon.
How could this happen to me, Mom? My life just burst like a balloon.
There is blood all around me, Mom, and most of it is mine.
I hear the medic say, Mom, I'll die in a short time.
I just wanted to tell you, Mom, I swear I didn't drink.
It was the others, Mom. The others didn't think.
He was probably at the same party as I.
The only difference is, he drank and I will die.

Why do people drink, Mom? It can ruin your whole life.
I'm feeling sharp pains now. Pains just like a knife.
The guy who hit me is walking, Mom, and I don't think it's fair.
I'm lying here dying and all he can do is stare.

Tell my brother not to cry, Mom. Tell Daddy to be brave.
And when I go to heaven, Mom, put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have told him, Mom, not to drink and drive.
If only they had told him, Mom, I would still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mom. I'm becoming very scared.

My friend is named Taylor. she is really nice and every thing but lately shes been lying to me and now that i think about it i really dont want to be friends with a liar. This one guy she says she likes doesnt like her and he said that he likes me and i dont like him cause he is a pervert and she tries to get his attention by pulling up her skirt and i told her about that and i told her that i saw her do it but she lied and said she didnt what do i say to her about the whole guy thing and the lying thing????? and should i still be friends with her for lying ????? well I came 2 a brand new skool last year and had no friends then i met this girls and we were alike and she asked me over and we became good friends then the next year she totally dithches u and your friends and becomes B.F.FS with the populaur girls. Then she had a b-day and doesnt invite and when u asked her if she had a b-day party she lies but then she posts then on bebo. I have a 20 year son who is a straight A college sophomore. He's majoring in Accounting and wants to go to law to be a tax attorney. He does not party, drink, go out a lot, etc like most people his age. He works as a waitor for tips and enjoys that a lot. He is, in my opionion, obsessed with investing, realestate, stock market. That's all he talks about to me and his father. He has some friends who are great people but it appears that that's what he wants to talk about to them and I think they get sick of hearing it. He will be sucessful I'm sure but is so lonely now. He is way mature than most 20 year olds and complains to me about the things that they talk about. His interests are just so different. He's going to a jr. college now and will be at a university next fall so I'm hoping he'll meet some other people who share the same interest. It's mostly on the weeks that he is lonely. During the week he seems okay. He loves all of his classes. Any advice?
