There is this girl who is a grade higher than me and i used to go out wit her friend but it ended in a bad way. We talk every night over AIM and used to talk in person. Right now she doesnt even aknowledge me in the school hallways, but we have elaborate conversations online. She posts up things on her AIM like all i want for xmas is him. I have a feeling she likes me and has become shy with me. Its a lot of fun to talk with he online and if i ask her and im wrong, then ill lose her of if she says yes, then what if the relationship doesnt last. Its also an ego thing cuz my friends suck when it comes to accepting relationships with ppl that arent as popular as we r not that we are even popular. But i really dont even care. Also shes filipino, im a russian immigrant. lol. Mybe i shud try it online cuz she will be comfortable, but idk

Continue your internet conversations for some more time. Suggest in one of these that you want to visit a particular movie or try a dish in a restaurant or something else which you know she is interested in, which would bring you two together. This is the starting point.
Any relationship can either flourish or break up, depending on several factors. You fear the unknown. Take a few steps, gain her confidence and then decide on the future as things develop.

Sounds like you think too much buddy, and you need to breath relax and think about what it is you really want and need from your relationship with her. sometimes it's easier for people to communicate with others on line rather than in person especially if they have low self esteem etc and are worried about other peoples opinions (ie your friends) now one way or the other you need to find out if she is interested in you and maintaining a relationship in person rather than on line because, lets face it it would be much more fun hanging out doing things and being able to hold her in your arms if you feel like doing that. Forget about what your mates think (do you really care) and no one is cooler than anyone for we are really all equals no matter what nationality we are . It should not matter as life is too short to live it accordingly to our friends opinions or our fears etc. Be brave ask her what you want to know and if she does like you do something about it unless she is really in fear and shy because she fears being judged by your friends etc remain her friend online and leave it at that. what ever you do in life be honest about your feelings it will help you in the long term.

Talk to her about it. Tell her that u want the friendship to last if the relationship doesn't and that u still want to be friends if she doesn't want to take your friendship to the next level.
