She's really mad at him, but doesn't have the guts to show it, so she takes it out on you.

Jealous...maybe...but mad? I dont think so! If she gets mad than that just tells you how much important it is to get a guy than to have a friend. I actually lost a couple of friends because of this too, and although I wasn't interested in the guy they stopped talking to me. Now, years later they're all comming up to me telling me they wished they never acted that way towards. Just to let you know don't be surprised if your "friend" is already spreading rumors that your messing with her territory.

She shouldn't get mad at you just for talking to the guy, but you should make sure you don't do more than talking to him.

What I think is that your friend is being a bit of a pain in the rear and also a bit unreasonable because you didn't make him or asked him to choose you. What your friend needs to is the the grown up thing right if you want to be involved in it. Like the saying goes if you're doing something do it right. She should tell this guy that she likes him and you as her friend should tell him that you prefer to be friends. Well that is if you don't like the boy yourself.

she shouldn't be mad at you. what did you do? nothing! she's mad at you cuz you got the guy and she did not. if she was a real friend then she would be happy. just tell her your sorry and try to hook her up with another guy. good luck.

NO WAY!!! she should not be getting mad at you! she's just jealous because he likes you and not her! and she's not being a very good friend to you. she's being very immature. she can't make him like her by getting mad at you! all she's going to do is show everyone how silly she's being!

She has the right to be jealous. However, it is not your fault that he likes you. If it ends up being a big thing...tell him you are not interested. My real friends have lasted longer then most of my relationships.
