Friends - December 2006

I had a best friend in highschool. She told me that we would never lose contact, and we would stay friend. She still calls me her best friend, but she never returns my phone calls.

I think I have decided to give up on her and move on. Is this the right thing to do?

her fiance end up cheating on her. to make it worst it was her friend. who is my cousin. i comforted both fo them. and told them that i'm going to tell. but they promise me that it won't happen again. but lied. they've done it again but now they aren't. the thing is my cousin is pregant with his child. he told my cousin he loves her friend not her. it was a mistake. his still want to be married. what should i do???? my cousin is pregant and my friend is engage. should i tell my friend about this. so she can dump her fiance and be mad at my cousin. or should i just keep it away from her and let her find out on her own.

A male friend of mine that I met at the beginning of this school year, around August 20th. He's Hispanic, wants to go into the military, obsessed with fitness (not gay), and...he likes sweets, but I don't want to get him any kind of food. He's really silly and protective, and dresses in button-up shirts almost always.

First of all, this is a real question, so I want real advice.
In a nutshell, me and a pregnant friend of mine's boyfriend slept together. He got me pregnant as well. She knows all this now (it was 5 months ago) and I appologized and we made up.
But just recently I got a call from her sister. Her baby was stillborn. I'm afraid to go and see her because I don't want to make it worse but I feel really terrible about the entire situation. What's a girl to do?

Well i have this friend that really likes this boy that she is going out with but he likes this other girl and the other day someone got on the girls email that the boy liked and asked him out and he said yes and now i want to tell her but the girl that the guy like does not want me to and im scared that if i tell my friend that her boyfriend is cheating on her. I have been friends with someone for about 5 years now. Not really close, until we started working together. I have recently learned from a co-worker, who is also my friend that she has accused myself of being a user of people. Where this comes from, I have no idea! We have never borrowed or asked anything of her, or her husband. On the other hand, I am expected to cut, color and highlight both her and her daughters hair whenever she feels necessary. She has even asked me to drive over 50 miles to pick her stranded nieghbor up(that I do not even know).
She has also started a rumor, that when my husband was out of town, I was meeting with someone else in another town close by(never cheated, no reason to).
Long story short, I have gone above and beyond for this person, because that is what friends do.
What would make her tell such blatent lies about me and how would you approach the subject without incriminating your other friend?

One of my best friends is always saying something sarcastic or just plain whines when I mention that I-went shopping,got a guy´s number,talk about a warm childhood memory e.t.c. I must mention that she´s a university student,and doesn´t work-I do-so she doesn´t have the income that I do,but other than that we´re basically in the same position.Is this behaviour a little over the top or is it just me?

My friend of nearly 20 years moved away, got married and had a baby in the last few years. Since she left she doesn't make any attempt to stay in touch. I went to visit her and found out she was engaged-had been for months-just had 'forgotten' to tell me. She never makes contact first and it's getting to me. We've been travelling together, went to nursery, school and college together. I thought we were good friends.
Should I tell her how I feel or walk away from this friendship?

She is literally ALWAYS jealous of SOMETHING and always really fake to me... When I resolve one, another comes up. Sometimes we're really great friends, trusting and everything, but it I really take the time to evaluate, it's a very typical high-schoolish jealous relationship where we're always trying to make the other see that we're better... and we're NOT in high school anymore. My husband and I would like some friends....sad but true!
We have a young family so socialising is hard for us, so pubs & clubs are out. We would love to meet another couple who live in our area Bolton, Lancs (our nearest friends are 100 miles away). Who are around the same age as us I'm 25, husband 31. Anyone any ideas???

After that possessive-thing incident
and the time when I got mad at him when he left me

After a few days...He confessed that he's not a good friend and by that, he wanted to end our friendship while it's still early so I won't be disappointed...He said he didn't leave me and he could never do that...

Okay, so, there were 4 of us now in a group (a few months ago, there were only the two of us)

He seems to pay more attention to our other two friends and he rarely talks to me

SOmetimes...I get the feeling of being left out yet I endured it...

When we are left alone...Silence is always surrounding us

And I always feel nervous when he's around

Sometimes I could see him looking at me at the corner of my eye

Sometimes he's looking at me when I'm talking to someone

Do you think he's trying his best to ignore me eventhough he can't?

Was he regretting? or is it really over?

I have a bunch of "guy" friends and not so many "girl" friends. I am a gal. And I was jsut wondering if it was bad to have "guy" friends? Is this bad or good? some of them are like brothers to me. but i can't get it through their heads that i won't date them. im not using them or anything like that but i thinks its creepy to date friends that are more of a brother because they no more about you.
