no gift, wear what ever you are comfortable in, behave how you would when meeting anyone, and major advice...express your nervousness to him...be open, I bet he's just as nervous! Good luck...and please be sure that your first few meetings are in well populated locations.

There is no need for a gift. You are just meeting him. Arrange for the meet in a public place during the day and not late at night. Maybe for coffee. Don't wear a very revealing dress as that would send the wrong ideas. Just be causal and without too much of makeup. Wear comfortable yet stylish clothes. There is no need to be that nervous. Talk general topics without any sexual innuendos or hints. Do not divulge any personal details like your address or anything. There is no need for him to drop you back home on the first meet. And have a nice time.

Stay friends at this level. Do home work, hire a detective find out by yourself do some work on your own, spend some money.

No gifts (It's your first meeting)
