As a girl, I have friends that are girls that I talk and hang out with. But another girl I know has told me that she doesn't get along with girls and usually only has guy friends...why do you think this is?

Okay, my friend who is 14 can't sleep over anyones house. She's a really cool person but she has trouble sleeping over. Either she never falls asleep or she wakes up and we have to bring her home or call her mom to pick her up really late at night or really early in the morning. Any suggetions?

a friend of mine died today
he had a seizure, the school called the paramedics & the didnt find a pulse, so the rushed him to the hospital. he died there
and he was a year younger than me, im in thenth grade, he was in nineth.WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!?!?! god it sucks, he didnt deserve it.
he had heart problems
which also sucked
he was one of my good friends!!!

I've been seeing a guy for 4 months but is a long distance thing although we speak everyday, anyway for ages now I've wanted to know where I stand with him, I think he likes me but i can't get up the courage to ask him, how does this sound (it;s thrown into a mail casually) If you think it's too much pressure, how can I rewrite it?

I have these friends who I was close to. Recently they said they needed space, and I gave it to them. However deep down I was angry that they said that and I am feeling like I don't want them in my life anymore. Now they're wanting to reconnect, and I can't bring myself to do it anymore. It's like so much energy to talk to them, and to try to connect with them. They just make me feel annoyed and I have all this strange anger towards them. I don't think I can forgive them for wanting space a while ago. My husband still wants to be friends with them so I'm trying, but I just get so mad and annoyed. What should I do? What's wrong with me?

Here we all are anonymous in cyberspace voicing our opinions but 90% of us are hiding. I like the sound of a lot of people I have read on Answers, some sound great fun but this seems to be as far as it goes. Wouldn't it be great if we all took a leaf out of a 7 year old child's book and were able to make friends with someone in your peer group within 5 minutes of talking to them? Is anyone out there brave enough ?

So i like this guy, and we've been friends a while. I think he might like me back but i cant tell. My best girlfriend Kendra & I have been kicking it for 4 yrs now. We have alot in common age, look like sisters, both have 4 kids, divorced but our lifestyles are different she is content with her little job, and living in the project while driving her 1996 grand prix. While I filed bankruptcy, bought a house, got my AA degree & working on BA. I just bought my 1st new car a 2007 Altima.

I take my classes online so I can be at home for my kids and for the last 6 mths being seeing an older Man Im very fond of. This past wkend was Kendra & my other friend Maras birthday I explained to both of them I could not hang out this wkend because I had to finish my paper. Mara understood & agreed I stay home & finish while Kendra ramped and raved about what kinda friend I was & why I wited till the last min to do my paper that I had been working on 4 wks and was due Sun. Then she acused me of lying & wanting to screw my BF all wkend. I was applaud not to mention already stressed was I the B!+(#

I dont know if he really like me i just heard from my friends that he likes me. He play wit me alot, you know the way a boy plays wit a girl he like, he like messing wit me. wat should i do? my friends told him that i like him and i know that he like me. around 6 years now. We were immature and stupid up until these last two years, and now everything has come crashing down on me. I realized that while we might have all goofed off and acted stupid, there were still serious issues the two of us delt with individually that WE together have never talked about. Big issues. Problems relating to family issues on both parts, but the problems mostly surrounded her/her family. The more I think about it, the more I realize how badly I want to talk about these things with her. I want to ask her how she felt, what exactly happened, what really went on - but I'm afraid to. She generally doesn't talk about things, deep things, like this. In all the years I've known her, I've only ever seen her cry twice. She laughs and has fun, both of us do, but she never cries or outwardly shows tears, or anger for that matter. But my issue is; I want to talk to her about these things. me and 1 of my old friends use to hang out all the time and we were really close but now she's a popular *********./s.l.u.t. she failing school, smokes behind her parents back, drinks, and has sex. So as u can guess she the most popular kid in our 7th grade. now people might say move on but she is my neighbor and god said to love and help our neighbor, now don't get me wrong i'm not a religous freak at all, but i remeber when we were little kids she always wanted to learn bout god but i never had anything to say, we tryed to have a bible club but you know how well 7 year olds can maintain a club we tryed 2 time but then things just fell apart so we gave up. but now that i want to help her i don't knew how.

I made friends with a woman I met at my child's nursery. Although we are very different the kids get on really well and we meet regularly. I feel like I am more of a friend to her than the other way round at times. The issue is that she did not even get me a card for my 40th, did not get me anything when I got married this August after saying both times that she was looking for something and would buy us a present soon! I do not expect it from people but I feel that she has made no effort and has made too many promises. For eg she was going to help me buy shoes for the wedding, help me on the day, etc but nothing materialised - same as the presents or cards. I have made her and her child as well as husband dinner and lunch on many, many occasions but this is hardly ever reciprocated. So I feel that I give a lot and do not get much back. I feel really pissed off basically and wonder what others would do in such a situation. Also she is about to move miles away in 3 wks time.
